Per source, the 49ers will be signing QB Nate Sudfeld, who had a tryout with them on Monday. Sudfeld, 31, spent the 2021 season in San Francisco and knows the offense.

Because they know they are going with Brock and Mac and they don't want to wear them out throwing. A camp arm that knows the system is all that is needed.

This week's practice schedule most closely resembles a regular season prep week for a game, even though it's still technically TC.
