Stout, Bergen, Sigle up next

Why do you have to say some s**t like that? Listing guys that are next to get injured. Lame take.

Because every year young quick twitch athletes have hammy pulls.

Those two statements are contradictory. If he's missing camp for a personal matter, it has to be serious and something to be concerned about. If it's not football related, that statement still seems calloused.

Baby?

Or just baby related is my guess. But why not just believe that it's not a big deal?

Maybe he's just trying to make a baby, felt spontaneous about it

His wife is already pregnant.

Yeah, that's a big deal.

It's a personal deal, it's not necessarily a big deal. There are just regular check up appointments or the appointment where you get to hear a heartbeat or see them. Things you wouldn't want to miss.

These injuries suck.

For any zoners that coach football at any level we are used to it.

I coach 11-12 y/o's. Typically they don't hit hard enough yet for major injuries in practice but I do have kids that have to sit out a few practices or have parents that are very cautious.

it happens.

knee jerk curse conspiracies and "made of glass" are silly to me.

its a grind out there and the human body isn't immune no matter what level you are at

Yep, and every year people learn about things they can do better. We had one game (Texas high school level) where the first game we had 8 kids pass out from heat because they didn't listen to the 5-10 thousand times they were told to hydrate a LOT for at least a day before the game.

Even at the top level they learn about their bodies and figure out what they need to stay healthier.

Every NFL team will have someone pop up with minor injuries

Even WR great Justin Jefferson got one

As long as it is a short term problem rather than a long term injury we will be ok...it will suck for the young players who miss out on TC development but the main priority is to avoid season ending injuries that eat into our depth

Makes me miss Jerry so much more. That's another aspect of his game that doesn't get enough attention. From high school through the pros he only had the 2 knee injuries, and to my knowledge is still the only player to ever return to play the same year as tearing an ACL. Then injured the other knee that very game. Never had any other injuries, at least that were made public.

Warren Sapp with a facemask tearing up his knee ... seems like it should have been more than just a 15 yard penalty. It was so blatant. I actually liked Sapp before that.

Maybe you'll become even more dramatic?
Hope we bring in another CB while we still can. Samuel could be a great asset and even Moseley. I know they're both injured, but we need depth along with experience. Wouldn't even mind Gilmore, just somebody.

There are still 5 other FA's out there can definitely fill in our team at OL, WR, CB, S and LB. Would really like some on one year deals, especially while they're still available. Want to get more talent in camp.

That's just the way it is with athletes now. It may even be part of the plaersd agreement. in the old days athletes didn't get personal time off. Many even missed the birth of a child. Now it's common to see athletes getting time off to handle personal matters. Most people tha thave regular jobs do the same thing.
