Yeah I agree. Guerendo is still all athleticism and feast/famine to me. James is like a smaller less powerful but also quicker and faster Mason. Can cut with burst, low center of gravity tough to tackle, understands lanes running in zone schemes and actually gets positive yards when theres nowhere to run.

Jake Moody and Greg Joseph each converted all four of their field goal attempts with those kicks coming from roughly 28, 33, 41 and 46 yards out. Bosa admitted to watching the kicking competition after practice, noting it's "kind of exciting."

A. Collins?

Please just tell me his pad level stays low

You can watch any clip of him and see that his pad level is never really low. Yeah we all have PTSD from Kinlaw, I get it lol. Collins' is at least not as high as Kinlaw's. Honestly if you're 6'6 it's very hard to play with pad level low.

He almost took that guy's head off, he's almost a foot taller and he won't be going against any olinemen that size

I think he'll be quite alright. He does look leaner, or maybe it's because his shirt isn't tucked in. But even his thighs look leaner

I really like James as a player. Wouldn't be surprised if he jumps Guerendo depth chart wise and is the #2 RB going into the season

I would be Guerendo was drafted in the 4th round and played pretty well for us. There is a lot for a rookie RB to master and it's hard to see James leaping someone who got starting level reps and performed well with them while the offense was kind of limited due to other injuries.

Not sold on Guerendo at all. The guy has terrible vision and would end up running into an O-lineman's ass multiple times.

just be patient on the guy, he showed us all a GLIMPSE of his talent and speed..

When MCM done, we'll have Lil Train Jordan James and G-Unit !!

Please don't tell us you already have a nickname for Equanimeous Please don't...

You certainly have a right to your opinion but he clearly showed improvement in that regard as the season went along…and James hasn't shown anything in a real NFL game yet. Though if he is actually better then I hope it's because he's simply that much better than Isaac and not cuz Isaac took a step back from how he finished the year.

Doubt it unless he's one hell of a receiving back. Guerrendo is the clear #2 if he can stay healthy.

Disagree. James never fumbles, hence he's elevated in Shannys eyes. He's like Mitchell except he stays healthy (hopefully).
Another receiver goes down.. not thrilled with the early trend.

In week 4 when all the receivers come back it will be like in the Avengers movie when they all come back through the portals

Jordan James is a short-yardage and goal line back and nothing like Mitchell. He doesn't have the top end speed of Mitchell or Guerrendo. He'll never backup McCaffrey. Guerrendo is the clear #2 behind McCaffrey with Korey Kiner being Guerrendo's backup.

James will be the guy you bring in on 3rd and short, 3rd and goal, 4th and short and 4th and goal. The only reason Mason was on the field last season was because both McCaffrey and Mitchell were injured. Instead of relying on a rookie, Mason was the next man up. That's why he was expendable.

If Jordan James is getting major carries, it will be the same reason why Mason got major carries--a depleted RB room due to injuries. We better hope we don't see him except in short-yardage situations.

Got up this morning and watched the NFL network = aka the Cowboys, Giants, Bears, Jets network but saw nothing on us.

Keep the camp news coming WZ.
Many of the beat reporters said that Mykel Williams and Alfred Collins look very impressive athletically. Multiple reported that Mykel had a very impressive against pony and that he looks like he could be a serious mismatch when he kicks inside.

Krueger who for some reason never seemed in love with the Collins pick admitted that he was very much impressed by him athletically.

Krueger was also impressed by Stout.
All the beat writers must be saving their analysis for their Youtube channels.
