. Play in question was discussed by beat writers and it was Stout and everyone said it was more him sniffing it out and making a great play. Just a weasel

THE NOT SO GOOD1, Running back Christian McCaffrey.

He's the only highly-paid veteran who actually participated in team drills during minicamp, and he deserves a ton of credit for that. Fred Warner, George Kittle, Nick Bosa and Trent Williams all showed up to practice, stretched and went through position drills, but none of them risked injury by competing against other players. McCaffrey did. Respect. However, during one play, he ran a wheel route from the backfield and was matched up one on one against a linebacker. In the past, McCaffrey would win this matchup and easily catch the ball down the field. This time, he couldn't get open. The linebacker ran with him stride for stride and Brock Purdy was forced to check the ball down to Jordan Watkins running a shallow cross. If McCaffrey is still as explosive as he was in 2023, he's doing a good job of hiding it

You actually read his posts?

I really don't get our need to keep crying about the guy...lol. The "ignore feature" works wonders, they said.

Let's stop pretending like we don't care what he says,...whether we take it with a grain of salt or not. Criticism will always have its place in journalism.

I wouldn't concern myself too much with what others think about him . This is just a forum, all about discussion.
Journalism is a pretty loose term. All SI guys are glorified bloggers/WZ posters these days . It's not the good ol' days when SI was reputable

A lot of us DON'T care what he says. We actively avoid it to not fuel his career any longer than it has to be. He's truly terrible, but he's just failing up anyway.

Is there an ignore function here?

It's pretty clear he's for entertainment purposes only and not to be taken seriously.

But he's brought up time and time again so eff it,...I guess I might as well start checking out his daily takes too...since they're inescapable anyways. +1 for Cohn.

So when your buddies tell you that it's a bad idea to sniff around the local dirty ho because you don't want any of that on you, you assume they are gatekeeping?

I'll take him with any pick after #6. Better believe I'm grabbing Isaac in the 8th though lol.

while we're on the 49ers 'Sports Illustrated guy...
Worrying about how a player looks in OTAs is even less important than how he looks in pre season games. I prefer to wait and see them in real games that actually count.

There is no player evaluation possible if you cant comment unless they make it into a real game.

We need something to bloviate about all summer.

We didn't use to need that. We used to go outside.

Dude makes a killing off of our fans. He knows precisely how to troll them and get clicks. His father was the same. Too easy with some. I hate to say it but he's a genius troll and our fans feed him.
