What don't you understand about having $5M in dead money? You're complaining about $10M or whatever is pointless. HALF that cash is on the books NO MATTER what you do. You THEN are paying for a backup to replace your open spot at backup. More than likely it's not someone with years of experience with Kyle like Lance.

How is it pointless when the back up is making more than the starter. That's not good business decisions there, no one keeps a back up at $10 mil. And if they got rid of Lance they would then have Darnold, Allen and draft pick which is altogether cheaper than Lance and the QB room also becomes cheaper.

You people bringing up Jimmy and his $14 mil when in actuality he signed for $7.5 mil and made incentives which he wasn't suppose to. Lance was suppose to be the starter throughout the season,. Come to find out Lance is just as injury prone as the QB he was replacing. People talk about context, where's yours??

Apparently Trey had 3 drops today. Two of them being for TD's.
