Yeah I don't consider this a big loss. I just doubt they'll do anything meaningful the pick.

One real highlight-worthy play, versus many instances of him getting caught out of position. He isn't any good, so getting a 5th for him was a masterclass move by Lynch and co.

I think the fact that KJ Wright wanted Jaden Dugger may have played a role in trading Dee Winters. Dee Winters is smallish 227 lbs. whereas Duggar and KJ Wright are in the 240+ range. i.e. KJ wanted his guy vs a guy drafted under Steve Wilks.

100 tackles should count for something even if they're not game changing. Dallas is making that low risk move thinking he could put it all together in year 4. If they were more confident they'd offer him a 2 year extension like the niners did with Greenlaw just as he blossemed.

I don't see him blossoming much more, he didn't really show much improvement last year. He's a ok/good #2 but needs a good DL which Dallas has a solid one.
