A lot of people here didn't like Hufanga for some strange f**kin reason. I guess they don't like real top 5 safeties who gave them a real first team all-pro season and likely just notched another all-pro season with his new team.

He was an elite playmaker, but not the Earl Thomas type and you know how fans feel here about anyone that ever gets injured so here we are.

Huf not getting extended was an obvious decision and I don't think we need to overthink it.

The guy was a very good player but even when he did play he had a lot of bad tape, we just remember the splash plays cuz those are a lot more exciting and memorable. But reality was he was a guy who wasn't staying healthy and not playing well enough to give him that big contract here with all the other contracts we had to worry about.

Odds are if we trade Aiyuk heading into 2024 then Huf is still a 49er. Just a crappy situation in many ways.

Other than being garbage, Another reason I can't wait until this guy is off the team .

It definitely should've. Bad look for both Whitner and Brown. Brown for being delusional and Whitner for taking this to social media/podcast. Doubt Sherm would've outted him like that.
