Love that hitner calling him out. He got 49er love. Our safeties are liabilities. Don't give me the argument about no pass rush. Yeah it sucked but do your job. NFL is littered with studs, hof, all timers on s**tty teams that did their jobs.

I love Hitner more and more, when I think I couldn't possibly love him more.

I'm usually not down with your negativity, but this possibility is intriguing--depending on the job description.

You disagree with the assessment of browns play? Sherman had same feedback .
I meant another misread from Brown. I think he's been terrible.

Oh gotcha. I dint have a problem with a guy being confident, but imo he's the biggest weak link on D, so him living in this fantasy world where he's a pro bowl safely and getting indigent ehrn his deficiencies are called out in a respectful manner is obnoxious

And here I am thinking we have our safety of the future because he was smart enough to consult his agent about that cybertruck years ago lol

I loved him on our defense I think he's trying to do too much. I didn't like him airing out that personal conversation on his pod/socials.
He was spot on about Brown's weak play and Brown is delusional thinking he played well somehow but regardless of the context if another player calls you up and has a phone convo with you...you should leave it off the podcast. Or at least filter what and who said it.
At least that's my take on it.

You remember what the stats were? I found a tweet comparing the first three years, but it's not favorable to Brown.

Whitner didn't come along till later in his career. Brown definitely can bounce back especially when we can pressure the qb. pic.twitter.com/bNRs8yKVnI

with a better DL Brown should do better also... not the best S in the league but better

Obviously it shows more than tackles.
Ultimately, I think stat comparisons like this are dumb anyway.
