both of our safeties aint it. just ain't it. Huf used to take bad angles and whiff too but he looks like Polamalu compared to these two guys

Because he got torched in the passing game and clearly isn't ready to play meaningful snaps. Besides Lenoir, the entire secondary is suspect. Stout has his flashes but still makes numerous mistakes.

I mean you're not wrong. I don't think Sigle is an upgrade at all though. He was awful when he got snaps earlier this year. It is clear that we have the worst safety room in the league. Both Brown and Mustapha are terrible in coverage. They both are over aggressive in the run game as well. We need to completely revamp this defense this offseason.

Do we have a safety on the roster? Can one of these guys be paired with a FA or day 1-2 pick and be ok? Or do we need 2?

We have two ss. We need a real fs. Coverage guy with speed. I'd love a do it all guy but yeah, brown ain't it.

This guy takes the worst angles i have ever seen for a safety who gets as much playing time as he does.

Brown has been a massive whiff—literally, figuratively, whichever way you want to slice it. He isn't fast, he can't shed blocks, he takes bad angles, he misses tackles, and he can't cover. And what's especially baffling is that, for a guy who chirps, he is afraid of contact. His only redeeming quality is that he has decent hands. That's not enough to keep him around.
Sigle cannot possibly worse. He is a sure tackler and he's fast.
