No reason this shouldn't be the best defense in the NFL, new coordinator, they will figure this s**t out and end up #1

Hey will be top 5 when it is all said and done, but they will not be the best defense in the NFL. We just seen that and hopefully we won't see it again. With the NFC it is pick your team for best defense between Philly and 49ers. Nothing has changed. Eagles have the better secondary but the 49ers have the better linebackers when both teams are healthy. The defensive line is a pick' em depending on the team you root for.

I judge our defense by how we play in big games and postseason, not all 17 regular season games.

It's not 2011 anymore where we can rely on the defense with our lives. What we saw against Dallas the last two times we played them, the Eagles even without our QB, shows me we have a tough as nails D.

Might need to rely on them a bit more until our stars on offense are all sorted out.

Just two more games until a much needed bye.

Very disappointed in our defense. We have by FAR.... FFFFAAAAARRRRRRRRR the best defense in the NFL on paper and the production is barely above average. This is a problem

No kidding!!! The 49ers are #1 in INT's. Only allowed one more passing TD than the greatest defense to ever walk the planet the Browns defense. Allowed the same amount of rushing TD's than the greatest defense to ever walk the planet the Browns defense. f**k yards, 49ers are 5-1, 49ers defense is stout and about to unleash a new side with Randy gregory!!!
