Who will be the next 49ers Defensive Coordinator?

They don't seem to navigate to the obvious mainstream choices. Maybe none of the above and a surprise (that we can b***h about for months )

Haha okay dude. Questioning a possible hire over three plays from Brady and Evans and tossing in a gif. Kinda being dramatic man. Dude wasn't even the DC at that point and those two DBs aren't good.

You know how many times Evans has smoked a DB on a deep TD? A ton.

Certainly possible a name we haven't seen mentioned or connected could end up as the hire. Media does not always learn of all the candidates a team may talk to.

But little room for b***hing as Kyle has proven he is capable of building a competent staff. Does not mean he is not capable of making mistakes but to date he has proven he deserves the benefit of the doubt.

You keep developing. The 49ers used to do this 30 years ago. As long as you keep smart people in the building. I actually prefer a coach who can move on because I want the 49ers to be seen as a place where a coach can advance their careers. Can't have both OC and DC locked down in perpetuity.

I agree with this. Speaks volumes about the 49ers culture. But I think there is something to be said about continuity as well. Another year in Ryans' defensive system would have been exciting to see where he could have taken them next. This years defense was the best in the league or arguably so. Perhaps if he stuck around, not that he should have, but could we be looking at an all time great defense? Possibly

A healthy Mosely would've done that IMO.

I wasn't questioning it lol I just said I was a little nervous of him being our DC. I even mentioned in my OP that hes probably not gonna be like that here and wish him to do well if he was with us..

Evans before that 3 TD game had not been on the same page with Brady the past 7 games lol. Also he wasn't smoking many dbs for a Deep Tds since he had 0 tds the last 11 games. That being said he is overall a great player, but this year was definitely a down year touchdown wise for him with only 6 total.

you can call me being a little nervous a bit silly, but it wasn't dramatic.
