SF 49ERS vs Seahawks Pregame thread - 2022 Wild Card Round

Man it sounds like terrible weather. But supposedly lite rain beginning and middle of the game. Which is good. Hopefully we have it mostly wrapped up by the end of the game and heavy rains. Because I don't want that to come into play. Ideally I wouldn't want this at all. I don't know how it will play out. But we just have to do it now. It's the way it worked out.
On a funnier note, the Vikings and Bills are the only teams that are 0-4 in the SB. My friends and I used to joke that those 2 teams need to play each other in the SB because someone would HAVE to win.

Neither will this year though.

Vikings made it to 4 SBs?
I suspect Pete will focus on stopping the run and taking away Kittle or baiting him to Kittle....

I don't care because if Kyle is smart he will use Deebo to eat them up underneath.

SEA's secondary is decent to good. Their LBs are weak. I think we've seen this type of gameplan before.
Good article on Hufs miscues

Yup. Just a hunch but with the weather and all, short passes to Deebo opposite Kittle sounds like a solid plan!

If Seattle can't stop the run then it's all she wrote. If I recall they did a decent job of it last matchup, but Purdy proved good.

This preview stated that the seahawks have given up 102.7 passer rating to RB's and 106.5 passer rating to TE's this season.

They got some beefy DLmen that aren't easy to move to it'll be interesting to see if the 49ers can consistently run. In the TNF game, CMC wasn't really having a ton of success as it was a grind it out type of rushing attack.
There will be some wind tomorrow so the short passing game versus those LBs might be the way to go. CMC to one side, Deebo to the other side, Kittle in the middle - mix it around, spread it around, and YAC it up.

Weather forecast seems to be improving. Calls for light rain for pretty much the entire game now. I don't think rain is going to be an issue at all.
