Such bs

it's not like most of those wins were due to him carving the 49ers defense up. Early in his career he just watched on the sideline as the LOB dominated, we couldn't beat a punching bag with Chip & Tomsula. And a lot of the losses with Shanahan came down to the wire, with most of them coming down to some nonsense on special teams, if the team wasn't injured from hell and back.

Yes, Seattle has really had our #, even with Shanahan (prior to this last game).

So because their DEFENSE could shut down our offense (esp. in the 2nd half of games), the games would inevitably be close.

Perfect formula for Wilson to make 1 or 2 plays to put his team over the top.

And when the Niners sucked, yes it was easy for him to win. Coulda won with Tavaris Jackson or whomever they wanted.....

27 points is the most scored by the 49er offense against Carroll since the week 17 finale in 2019.........and before that, the most since Singletary dropped 40+ in 2010.....the 33 points in 2011 was courtesy of two return TDs, so only 17 points.

Under Kyle, we finally cracked 20 points against the Hawks, but only in 2019 I believe, possibly 2018. In general we did what Harbaugh couldn't (score more than 20), but not always enough.

As good as our game was this past weekend, 27 points is pretty good, but if Wilson was playing, maybe they make it nice and tight instead of 27-7. We always start off hot against the f**ker, but then their defense settles down, shuts down the Niner offense , then he makes his comeback.

That's the only formula the Broncos have for beating the 49ers this coming Sunday night. If the Niners O can pour it on, the Broncos are gonna be in a lot of trouble, with or without Wilson.

I don't see anyway the 9ers win this game.

Lol. What're next weeks lotto numbers
Jimmy gets a full practice week with the starters again. I'm officially back on the jimmy G hype train again, support my team whoever's at QB. Russ will always be tough to beat. We're going to need the offense to step up a little more this week. Russ always finds a way to score on the toughest defenses.
We know if Pat Surtain or Jeudy are playing?

Week 1 looked like a very fluky loss for Denver's offense. Had what, three fumbles inside the Seahawks' 3 yard line? And that last drive where they probably easily would've scored if they actually used the full clock and downs? Yuck.

But then Week 2 happened and they looked even worse. And our defense is supposed to be better than Houston's.

I hope you're right. We'll see. Would suck for them to finally figure it out against us. Denver did finally score 10 points in the 4th on Sunday…

"It's good news for them," Hackett said. "They'll be day-to-day. We thought both of those might be bigger and longer injuries, so we're excited that they're day-to-day. Not sure if they'll be available for the game (Sunday), but we're hoping and we are crossing our fingers for that."

Probably won't be playing? Idk
Love to have you come visit our Broncos board, in anticipation of Sunday night's game. I apparently haven't been a member here long enough to post links, so you'll have to Google Orange Huddle.

I will warn you that we are all still reeling from the shock of the bone-headed decision making of our new staff, through the first few games. Two weeks ago, I thought I had never seen anything quite like what happened at the end of our game against the Seahawks. Then Sunday happened. That felt like I was in a fever dream. So far, conversation about the 9ers game has been light - there's a bit of a feeling of dread, in light of Jimmy Garoppolo being back in the starting lineup. (How long into his first season did you all feel comfortable with spelling that, by the way?)

Anyway, we'd love to have you join us for the week.

Sweet lord is this even accurate?

Counting playoffs, yeah. I can even name the 4 wins off the top of my head--

- Thursday night home game in his rookie year (2012)
- Frank tears off that long run in the 4th quarter and we kick a winning FG (2013)
- home game with Nick Mullens at QB (2018)
- Greenlaw goal line stand to win the division in Seattle (2019)

That's rough but it also includes a few years where the team really wasn't competitive at all (Tomsula, chip, Kyle's first year with a decimated roster)

Is playing him in Denver rather than Seattle a plus for us?

After Sundays win, Kyle is 3-8 against Pete.
You got KS10 vs a guy who launched an 82 yard field goal over getting 5 yards with Russ

Something has gotta give in that 4th qtr

I still think the 49ers have the better team. But Wilson is the wild card.

He really didn't. Hawks defense did. They would make the big play that changed the game. Russ would just be the beneficiary of the defense making plays.
Go 49ers!

Broncos HC is completely incompetent I think we pull out the W.

What did he do now?

We lost to the Bears. Nothing is guaranteed.

Is it going to monsoon in Denver for our game?

We beat the Redskins/Commanders in a monsoon. Your point?

Apples and oranges. We weren't missing Kittle in that game who is an essential part of this offense , without him, it is almost unwatchable. and we didn't have a practical rookie qb starting in only his third nfl game. And I'm pretty sure that was a pretty ugly game, we won what 9-0? Losing to the Bears was a fluke, and the Seahawks are going to be a TERRIBLE team this year. Don't hold too much stock beating those losers

Yeah VA forgot to mention ALL BEARS scores were extended drives (2 of which were after a third down stop) with 100 yards in penalties. Also NO Ward who would of certainly stopped at least 1 of those broken plays, NO Mitchell who was averaging 6.8 YPC and easily the difference in the game and most importantly NO Kittle who we are 2-8 without. So unless we plan on gifting the Broncos a few TDs via penalty I think we are good

Doesn't the win against seattle make it 3-8 now?

Unfortunately, our problems started much earlier than the 4th quarter in week two. Hackett seems WAY over his head. I'm guessing there will be fans that tune in Sunday night, just in hopes of seeing the schadenfreude that has been the Denver Broncos so far.

I'm curious (and horrified, as a life-long Broncos fan) to see where this goes. The new owners are hands-on; and they have to be extremely embarrassed. I didn't hear boos like we had Sunday through either the Vance Joseph or Vic Fangio debacles. And that was 1) the home opener, 2) which we won, 3) Russel Wilson's first game, and 4) the coaching staff's first game. All those things would usually make for an atmosphere that is pretty patient and forgiving.

I was really intrigued at the possibility of hiring Mike McDaniel in the offseason. I'll admit that I wasn't devastated that we hired Nathaniel Hackett, because he was sold to the fanbase of being a combination of Tony Robbins and a football Rainman. So far? Yeah, no.
Let's ride!
