Preseason 2022: 49ers at Texans - Game 3

Just a very flat "dear god make camp end" performance, overall.

To highlight the positive, the ST's are looking way more buttoned up and contract year Wish is booming the ball. If he keeps it up he could be an important under the radar weapon.

I would rather see him and think he would be better than Moore/Odom/Gipson at Safety

Lol whats up with his criminal case?

I assume it's over with but really don't know.

And THAT's the O-line Shanny started Lance behind tonight. Should have just sat him.

Agree 💯%, I think Sudfeld got outplayed by Purdy. Sudfeld is a 6+ year veteran and Purdy is a inexperienced rookie, yet Purdy moved the ball, I think, better than Sudfeld did.

This

This X2. 49ers looked unprepared for what the Texans were doing - specially the Offensive Line.

They still finished the pre-season with 2 wins in 3 games and it ´s pre-season so who cares anyway but yes this game is not a good look.
The indiscipline all game killed the team. Too many yellow flags. Too many failed blocks by the O-Line.
I said before this game that beware of the Texans because they are playing these pre-season games like it's the regular season. And I don't mean just the players themselves, Obviously the players should play hard. I mean the coaching staff and how they game-plan these games. I think they still had starters playing in the 3rd quarter.

And while I love that Trey is taking full responsibility, Nobody is going to believe him that the Oline did their job lol.

Should have four months ago.

If only we had $25M to spend.

Yes they are idiots. But we were told that Trey's athleticism would transcend the bad OL play.

You were told Jimmy's just not the guy. And he isin't.

Didn't watch….any big time injuries?

Burks is the only notable I saw. Knee. Hope it's not serious.

Shoot, well imo that's the most important thing to take away from preseason games….just don't get hurt.

We'll be lucky to get 7 wins. Lance is gonna be killed this year. Years of neglecting the Oline finally caught up.

Sus?
