Agree, if Kyle can continue to work on more getting durable players. Super Bowl is up there in possibilities next year!

I think we go next year with a chance to win. I hate to face Mahomes. It's probably Mahomes or Burrow. But we have a chance anyway. Either way.

With Brock its definitely a winnable game either way.

The offseason draft and free agency will be a critical development for which the 2023 season will rest on. If they keep that defense strong, they should have a chance against any team in the NFL, as long as you have Brock playing QB.

We need to spend more on pass protectors. That is the one lesson we should learn from this season. MM is great at pass protection but failed multiple times to protect the passer. Kyle has to also scheme better to protect our QBs. No more 3rd string TE blocking etc.

This is the weirdest thing i have read. Yea. Lets have a two year qb competition. So we can ruminate on all the subtleties. Lol.

Lol it's not weird at all. They're 22 year old QBs and on rookie deals and they've not even played a fully season worth of games combined. Trying to get rid of one of them is actually really weird and reeks of agenda that is not in the interest of the team.

Agree, specially when a potential franchise level QB falls right in your lap. You do everything to extend his career as much as possible for your *own* job security. 49ers have possibly two of them. you don't want to have to go through another 2022 in terms of QB injuries again.

A play action offense is a staple of all WCO variants. And to be fair, Kyle's moving more towards a power gap blocking scheme vs the speedy misdirection outside zone scheme.

It wouldn't surprise me if Kyle changes the offense to suite more Purdy vs Treys skill set. With Purdy, if I would design the offense, I'd take advantage of his pocket mobility and ability to scramble. Lots more scramble drills, same positionless offense, but more weighted to the pass vs the run. As others here have said, develop that OLine to have much more pass protection ability relative to the run. The run game is still there for Balance, but with Brock passing accuracy the play action pass is so much more potent.

Also, it's sad that we gave the Chiefs this blueprint which I think helped them significantly in protecting Mahomes from getting sacked by Reddick.
