Mark that off the things he has not done yet.

With a team ravaged by injuries.
There's no Avengers excuse this time.

That wasn't a good game for Brock. Much of his passing yardage came from YAC by Robinson, Jennings and Juice on 3 plays. We haven't seen that much all year. The Eagles secondary looked terrible yesterday. It was really the no name defense that won this game. Saleh changed things up a little and the Eagles weren't ready for it. They held the Eagles to 3 points after the 2 INTs that Brock threw. They could have changed the game if the defense hadn't done their job. Three LBs that weren't even playing or on the roster when the season started. LB is a really important position in the 49ers D so that makes it even more remarkable.

Lol if Lamar/Mahomes/Allen had that game winning drive and throw to Christian..nobody would be saying that. Even with the ints ppl would just be glazing all day over that. IT IS OK to say Brock is good lol. Yes, the ints had me smh. But damn, Kittle goes out and one might think that would shake him mentally some. They are friends/neighbors/party buds haha and they seem to have a tight connection on and off the field. Doesn't get emotional, doesn't shake him mentally, Brock gets right back to it..with an impressive throw and completion iirc.

Dude doesn't have Pearsall, Kittle, little B Aiyuk..and still Brock and Shanny found a way to win. It's just impressive on a creative level, a precision level and an execution level.

Why ppl say Brock is good..like they are holding in a fart? All uncomfortable and holding back..let it go lol. It's ok to say he is good lol. When Kittle went out, dude, I was like..we are down to a half stick of bubble gum and two cotton balls. I didn't think we would come out with a w. But everyone just showed the hell up. It was great.

They didn't have Aiyuk all year and Pearsall has played about half the time. Even Kittle missed some games. They should be used to not having them by now. Their receivers are still better than Buffalo's. Allen made a TD throw yesterday with a guy in his face while falling backwards. It was a 30 yard rope right on target. All arm. That was a great throw that very few QBs can make.

"They should be used to not having them by now."

That makes no sense at all. They're at a deficit in terms of available talent; duration does not really make up for that. That's like saying poor people should just eventually figure out how to live a wealthy lifestyle after a while even though they're broke.

One of his best playoff games all things considered.

Purdy now has the FIFTH MOST come from behind wins in NFL playoff history.

I see it differently than some of you. I'm not taking away from what he did. I'm merely pointing out that it wasn't what I would call a good game on Purdy's part. Not a bad game but not as good as many he's had. Don't be afraid of a little criticism. Purdy knows he could have played better and I'm sure he knows those INTs were bad. He led that game winning drive which certainly can't be over looked but neither can the bad stuff. It was a slightly below average game for Purdy combined with a good game by the receiving corps, the O line pass protection and the defense. Kyle and Saleh both had good game plans. In the end Purdy didn't need to have great game. Just be good in a few spots.

Lolol not afraid of criticism..lol we all know the ints sucked.. there are many throws BP has made that other QBs would have a hard time making. So spare me with the Josh Allen, omg he is so big and sexy, talk. haha. Have fun glazing over Allen's big, hunky arm like it's some other extremity .

Russell Wilson threw 4 INTS and had a 0.0 passer rating for 56 minutes of a playoff game yet everyone worshipped him after the game.

Purdy plays decently against one of the best pass defenses in the entire league on the road in the playoffs with only two bad plays and it's "he didn't play well."

I've never seen the goalposts get moved so much for a QB. Ever.

nobody said he didn't make important, difficult, good plays. But you can't throw 2 pics a game and play football in the NFL.

Purdy has thrown at least one pic in four consecutive games. Hopefully will break that streak next week.

CMC handing the ball to the Defender really shouldn't be counted against Purdy.

I don't know who you are but apparently you don't watch any other games. Get rid of all the other QBs that threw picks. I'm so sick of people like you posting. People like you are miserable people that spend all their time complaining.

The 49ers are not talented at WR.

I include Kittle when I talk about receivers and Jennings and Pearsall when on the field are better than what Buffalo has. I only mentioned Allen to point out what I consider a great throw. Not just a good one or one that most QBs can make.

I don't know why people get so defensive when anyone points out a flaw in Purdy's game or says he didn't have a great game. We used to criticize Montana and Young when they didn't have a good game and threw a couple INTs. Nobody lost their s**t over it when we did. When Brock plays great and has a good game I acknowledge it. I only pointed out that he didn't have a good game yesterday to emphasize it was other things that won that game. Receivers like Robinson stepping up in a big game when he was mostly a nonfactor all year. The defense playing tighter coverage instead of allowing receivers to get wide open all day. Kyler designing a good game plan to exploit the holes in Philly's D. It wasn't an amazing performance by the QB that won that game.
Huge Props to Purdy for showing up at the end!
I'm pretty confident in saying it's Allen, Mahomes, Purdy in that order...

Full confidence that if we are not getting completely blown out purdys going to give us a chance... and that's with no running game and the worst wr core in the NFL...

Purdy is a big reason why they won. He was great down the stretch, instrumental in 2 Q4 touchdowns that won the game. Yes, it took other great performances too - CMC, Robinson, Jennings, Kendricks, Wallow, Sigle, etc. Team game.

Yes, it's more about doing enough to win a game and less about the ups and downs. Purdy can definitely be better, but he's only 26 in his 4th season as a starting QB. I'm pretty confident that he'll improve.
