I think Purdy could have pancaked Carter here.

I love Brock Purdy but he has to eat it if nothings there. I also feel he is more at risk for hospiyal balls and helium floaters when hes hurt. I think he got dinged last week against seattle. No excuse but there you are.

I think playing Seattle D, Eagles D, then Seattles D again bodes well for Purdy. 3 elite weeks of competition will sharpen him for this third battle. He is a learner and our offense got rocked by Seattle just last week. We'll come out with a better game plan for sure. Hope it equates to a win because...why not

Brock overcame two pretty egregious INTs imo, which shows he's got the moxie/ice in the veins to take this team anywhere.
Kyle and Brock will always give this team a chance. I just need Brock to be cool with throwing the ball away, take a sack or check-down on those early downs vs tossing those type of INTs.

In fairness to Brock he is making these decisions in collapsing and irregular pockets. That contributes to the "looks good to me" mentality.

That wasn't a good game for Brock. Much of his passing yardage came from YAC by Robinson, Jennings and Juice on 3 plays. We haven't seen that much all year. The Eagles secondary looked terrible yesterday. It was really the no name defense that won this game. Saleh changed things up a little and the Eagles weren't ready for it. They held the Eagles to 3 points after the 2 INTs that Brock threw. They could have changed the game if the defense hadn't done their job. Three LBs that weren't even playing or on the roster when the season started. LB is a really important position in the 49ers D so that makes it even more remarkable.

This may be the most impressive win of Kyle Shanahan's career.

The game-winning TD was a masterpiece of precision…Brock Purdy gets to his 5th progression. pic.twitter.com/tjtHFB5u84
Most impressive finish of a game winning drive by Brock

No doubt YOU would be blaming him. Dont speak for the rest of us who are better at analyzing football.
If we lose yesterday 19-17 or 22-20, who gets the blame? Certainly not the defense who played admirably. The oline played as well as it could. We had the lead and the ball at midfield when Brock threw that second pick.

Let's not get extreme here. His two picks were really bad but overall given the competition and who was available he had a great game.
We had the 3rd most passing yards allowed by the Eagles this year without Aiyuk, Pearsall and Kittle being injured early in the game...all while putting up the 4th worst rushing numbers against the Eagles this year.
Those YAC yards you're quick to somehow take off Brock's shoulders are there because he's identifying the matchup and making the throws with anticipation and accuracy. Not easy to do against a defense that good.
But yes it's a team game and the defense came up huge against competition that wasn't great. It was good on good and bad on bad. Thankfully we came out on top but Purdy was a large part of why we did.

I'll add that that throw to Jennings had Brady drooling. It was such a high level throw, with anticipation and a very tight window in windy conditions. It was so accurate that Jennings caught it perfectly in stride. Crazy how one would just give credit to everyone but the QB who made the throw.

Game winning drive, which Hurts couldn't do. He deserves credit

Brock clearly made a smart business decision here 😎
Not too sure about how much guilt he's feeling 😂
