Brock can't do it all by himself. Other offensive players need to step up.

No speed at all on offense and no bright spots to even look forward to. Gurrendo non existent. Cowing who knows if he's any good. Wadkins who knows if he's any good. 5th round RB who knows.
Just keep throwing veterans with no separation out there for him to try to make work in a timing offense...
Played really good tonight given what he had to work with. A 30 year old RB averaging 3 ypc and no wrs that run faster than a 4.5
Results as expected...
Purdy was part of the problem tonight....
Part of the problem but far from the top of the list. When you're constantly getting pressured and guys aren't getting open there's only so much he can do to create.
As bad as it was the game is very different if YGM can get a fumble there for the taking or if CMC doesn't alleyoop a pass from his hands right to a linebacker.

100% correct JCS.
Purdy didn't belong on a pro field, I despise that mental midget.

You need offense players who can step up. Not sure we have that . . . we need a top receiver, we need a second receiver who can play each week. We need an OL that can defend the pass and open lanes for the run. We need someone to go with Bosa for the pass rush, Williams isn't that guy. We really need a major retooling . . . . and we don't have enough draft picks to do all that in one draft and I don't trust the front office to make great picks. Until we do that, Seattle and the Rams will own this division.
Give Purdy the right tools and he can succeed and we don't need a number 1 or 2 QB in this system. However we are just missing too many pieces and some of that is on Jed York who isn't willing to spend anymore on the team which is fine, that is his decision to make. Fans need to remember that and put some pressure on York also.

No QB would have done well without any running game and with an oline that was dominated every snap. Not to mention a defense that couldn't stop the run. Purdy didn't even have a chance.

Ball placement suffers when you're under constant duress.
Can you name a QB who would have looked better with no run game, a collapsing pocket on every play, slow WRs, and a defense that couldn't stop the other team from dominating the TOP? We got whooped by a better team, not because Purdy failed us.

Mid-tier QB that can get hot for some stretches but against real defenses we know he won't do it.
It is what he is and that's no bad because most QB's are mid-tier but the issue is that we overpaid him.

Brock, for most of the game, wasn't under constant pressure... the Seahawks just took away the middle of the field and he was waiting for it early on... eventually started hitting the short stuff... then finally in the second half, started hitting the vacated part of the field with the corner routes.

The pocket collapsed on nearly every drop back. Seattle was dominating the point of attack.

I strongly encourage you to adjust how you evaluate players…and how you label them.

It slowly did early on... Brock had the usual 2.5+ seconds QBs are expected to find someone.
If Brock didn't wait for the digs to be open..maybe a bunch of quick passes underneath would have brought the lbers closer... and that would have opened the middle.
There was on play where Brock left the pocket a sec early as his WR was breaking open in the middle of the field. I believe it was off a play action.

70% completion tonight. There just wasn't anything there. Driven backwards in the pocket by poor OL play, so all his momentum is moving away from the LOS. Nobody open that Seattle didn't mind being open. Mostly minimal gains.
If you were watching this game and thinking Purdy was playing bad, you don't understand how football works. Hate to break it to you.
