What monkey? He is 2-2 against McDonald. Maybe not dominant but it's not like he's 0-10

and the 2023 Ravens D was triple crown winning unit. this Seahawk D is good but not in the same tier as that Baltimore team.

This SEA defense is #2 overall in points allowed at 18.1 per game (the only metric that matters IMO)

They are an elite defense among the NFL this year

Exactly! Don't compare last year's Sea defense to the 2023 Ravens or even Sea first game of this year. Sea defense has hit its stride and is now much closer to the Elite Ravens D that embarrassed Brock. Excellent barometer for Brock. Could cement himself as a top 10 qb on Saturday or will turn back into a pumpkin ala Jimmy!

Both Purdy and Stafford are great QBs. But what bothers me is Stafford gets 100% credit for their success and 0% blame for their Failure. With Purdy it is always the opposite. While I am not saying that Purdy is playing better then Stafford. I can try to make the case.

Obviously Purdy has played for half a season and Stafford a full season. But It is pretty shocking how comparable their stats are.

Passer Rating
Stafford 108.8
Purdy 104.2

YPA
Stafford 8.0
Purdy 7.9

TD%
Purdy 7.8
Stafford 7.5

Completion %
Purdy 69.3
Stafford 65.2

Brock has played 8 games. Stafford 16 so we can easily adjust other stats to see what Purdy would be at it if you doubled his current stats in certain categories.

Passing TDs
Stafford 42
Purdy 40

Rushing TDs
Purdy 6
Stafford 0

Passing yards
Stafford 4,448
Purdy 4,080

Rushing Yards
Purdy 252
Stafford -2

Sacks
Stafford 22
Purdy 16

INT
Stafford 8
Purdy 18

Their numbers would be pretty comparable if you were arguing MVP. Obviously the one thing that jumps out is Brock throwing twice as many INTs. But I doubt Purdy would average that many on an entire season. Although it is pretty amazing that he is averaging that many more INTs and their Passer ratings are that close. Also these Stats are with Purdy playing games hurt and coming back from injury.

But here is where you can make the argument for Purdy.

Purdy is 7-1. With wins against the current #1 and #2 seeds in the NFC. His only loss came against a playoff team which he tried playing injured. And he still threw for over 300 yards in that game.

Stafford has Puka and Davante Adams. A RB currently with more rushing yards this season then CMC. And a much better defense.

With all that going for Stafford and still their stats are comparable. All that and the Rams have a worst record and the 49ers are currently playing this week for #1 seed. Purdy is simply doing more with less to work with.

I think that's because people look at Stafford and see all those great throwing performances all those years with the Lions.
Purdy has no such history, obviously, with any other team.

Purdy and Stafford are not on the same stratosphere. Purdy is playing great and is on the hottest QB streak going into the playoffs, but Stafford is a HOF QB with many years of success and a SB ring. Without Stafford the Rams probably don't make the playoffs. Without Purdy the Niners probably would with Mac albeit not as good.

Oh Drelly, my boy

1. Give Shanny's son (McVay) and Staffy our current roster... I'd bet all your money (a little bit of mine), they don't get to the playoffs

2. BP gets to playoffs with Lambs current roster no matter if it's Shanny coaching it or his son

3. BP is a pup compared to Staffy, yet he's been doing some amazing things... last year with more than half the roster gone, this year too, and I'm just talking about last two years. Staffy proved he is dog sh!t with a bad roster With a SB win and time to pad his stats the way Stat Padford does, Purdy would be on another level than your lover, Staffy Your lover is an INT machine (just ask Brett Favre)

4. Mac Jones would take that Lambs to the playoffs (easily) and with Shanny leading that team, they'd probably get to the SB

Again, your lover, Staffy, and Shanny's son (Meth Head looking) McVay wouldn't do sh!t with our roster F'king FACTS, my boy
We will win because of Brock's confidence. And hopefully it rubs off on our young defense.

And apparently we don't use play action that much like in the past

Nice Job Lynch. Still could of used someone like McKinley at Safety or Jobe to compete at the CB position. Career practice squad player with NO potential.

Lol. Love going back to the first page of this thread. What a pick.

And honestly, Brock>Allen. He just is taller and "looks the part" a bit more for ppl. But I think Brock is a faster processor and yeah, more twitchy..he is gunna get his flowers one day . I mean, let's see Allen do a Brock to Juice play.

Allen bigger and stronger. Stiff arm one rusher and blast his way to through the other one into the end zone and get concussed. I like Brocks version better lol

we got two bottom feeder matchups from our division --our especially bad cardinals team (3-13). Also saints and tenn (3-13)

not sure how it worked out this way but we got to play 5 games against the bottom 5 teams (cards 2x): giants, browns, tenn cards (2x). no raiders.

The only teams we have beat with a winning record are rams and bears.

Seahawks?

Yeah we beat 2 of the best NFC teams at least once this year.

Yea forgot the seahawks. We had warner and bosa when we beat them. We had warner when we beat the rams.

Of our 12 wins only one came outside our division against a team with a winning record. Given our historic defense i wouldn't realistically expect a lot. Just sayin.

SF's offense has hit its stride all the same. Avg over 36 pts per game over the last month on offense.

I see Sam turning into a pumpkin not Brock
