QB Brock Purdy Thread

It's been a long time since I felt like the offense was carrying the team. Let's go Purdy.
Brock showing everyone what some of us already saw despite everything.

When he's playing at his best this team can absolutely put up huge numbers regardless of who is out there for skill players.

Sure he may not dominate with nobodies but if he's got at least some consistent playmakers he's got chemistry with then he's going to play well.

I pray we've got enough juice and health to get an improbable SB win done(would be absolutely insane to win without the guys we lost) but regardless the future with Brock is a good one.

got it...

lol 7-7 all game. Defense is essentially worthless - they're just running around like headless chickens.

the offensive output is fun to watch but as a fan of the overall game. It was depressing to see such terrible defense.

To be fair: Purdy put the team in a hole with the pick 6. Obviously not bashing Brock who has been carrying lately, but spotting your opponent a 7-0 headstart within seconds isn't an ideal situation to be in for a depleted defense. The defense then forced two 3 and outs before Johnson adjusted.

Need Green and Stout ASAP.

You're 100% right that Brock put us in a hole, although it was a really nice play by the DB per shanny and Brock, I haven't rewatched it.

but you're forgiven if you go on to drop 42 and the defense is giving up 31+ , just terrible defense. Getting 2 stops in an entire game is horrible for any team. Only way it would be better is if they forced FG but didn't, which makes it worse. lol

it is what it is - I have confidence this week will be better! I really hope green is back and upton can play. Same with white, I hope he's alright.

Brock was unbelievable last night. THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is what winning a true shootout is. First one I can remember like this maybe ever.

Reminded me of the 2019 Saints game.

What a 🤡. I remember the days that moron was writing his nonsense for ESPN.

Wonder where hed rank if you count all December seeing as he's played one less game then everyone but Bryce Young for the month. Probably still top 3 in just about everything.

One hell of a heater right now. Keep it going in January.

Just proud of the guy for battling through an injury some thought would keep him out all year, all the talk about QB controversy, team falling apart w/injuries, only to come back and perform at unprecedented levels. He's been phenomenal.

It speaks volumes about Brock and his mental toughness but also speaks to the others in the locker room and the culture shanny & Co have fostered.

none of these guys are thinking about giving up or calling it a day. I think the defense has a bounce
Back game. Gets their fundamentals right and gives Darnold anxiety. Can't wait to take the 1 seed
This may have already been posted...but in his spare time...Purdy helping common folks in need.

As fans, we care most about what the guy does for us on the field, obviously, but it's really nice to have a guy you trust at QB and he's a great role model.
