QB Brock Purdy Thread

That has become a common refrain for Shanahan during the Niners' five-game winning streak. In that span, the Niners have won each contest by double digits and averaged a league-high 34.4 points, best in the NFL.

San Francisco's offense has been so dominant that the team hasn't punted in 133 minutes and 35 seconds of game time. This is the first time since at least 1950 that the 49ers have gone two straight games without punting, according to the Elias Sport Bureau, and they are one of six teams to accomplish that feat in the regular season during the Super Bowl era.

Amazing performance. He was awesome. I watched almost every game this week end and man there's not 10 QBs better than him in the league. He's a top 10 QB easy the way he's deadly in the pocket and also an excellent scrambler. He's clearly the best QB Kyle had with Matt Ryan.

Defense at least played well against the run tonight.

That's my one hope…maybe we sold out to stop the run today and them going so pass heavy messed us up.

Flip side is…our pass rush being so poor could've led them to make that decision.

Either way, we gotta clean up a LOT. Hopefully getting QBs with a more proven track record on their current teams will help also.

I dont have stats but it feels like the D regressed post bye and the offense progressed.

We will go as far as our offense takes us. The D is young and scrappy, and opportunistic, but has lapses and gives opposing offenses opportunities.
System Quarterback.

Lacks Prototypical Size.

Can't Make All The Throws.

It's All In The Scheme.

Anyone Would Succeed With So Many Weapons, like ummm, Bourne, and uuummmm, Moore?
Great game
How good can Brock Purdy be? He can be good enough to actually top tonight's performance. Like a six TD game. Maybe even seven if needed. We just might get to witness that as the season moves on. Right now, the kid is smoking hot. Every throw is money. As good as you think he is right now, I have a feeling that he will show us that he can be that much better.
i like that the leaders are pushing "tunnel vision", that's really the key - the cliche saying "one week at a time" but it's true. Just go all in on the game infront of you.

spending one second thinking about Seattle or the playoffs takes away time to prepare for Chicago. So that's nice to see - I can't wait to see us dismantle the Chicago baby bears

Even his missed throws like the one Kittle dropped in the end zone and the TD catch to Tonges were amazing.
Feels so good to have a win like this, at this point in the season. I've missed this. this time last year was depressing af.

I'm curious what Matt Ryan's stats are under Kyle as the OC... because this is what Kyle was doing in Atlanta... this is what I was looking forward to Kyle doing over here. And Kyle finally started doing that again on a consistent bases when Brock first took over.
