Nah, I liked Tua when he first got to Miami. Thought they found a nice qb. Until further review, Tua doesn't have the accuracy or the anticipation like Brock. His accuracy falls apart even further with a bit of pressure.

The comparison with Purdy never made sense. Tua even before his concussions wasn't a good scrambler unlike Purdy. Tua was a little bit like Jimmy G post ACL. Every time he had to improvise, something bad could happen for Miami.

lol remember when a good amount of Niner fans thought Mac Jones was just as good, but cheaper? 🤔

LOL - I'm happy for Mac but it's not even close.

Lombardi had this chart that it shows stuff like "volatility" and "predictability" for coaches and their play calls. Last year was like Kyle's worst season, which I'm assuming has to do with losing CMC unexpectedly.

It felt like the play calls were crap last year but couple that with poor play by the players and Brock having a down year - people tend to think they're trash and all that.

this youth infusion has created great team energy and effort (and great coaching hires).

Yeah, there are similarities between them (specifically the system they run) but I've never thought tua was in Brock's level.

honestly, I've always looked at tua as the Samoan Jimmy g. lol

Brock is a better athlete, decision maker, and he's more poised in the pocket.

Tua is a great anticipatory passer and is accurate when well protected. I think he actually showed some improvement under pressure over the last season or so, funny enough.

Awesome.

Brock will continue to shut the detractors down, his own detractors and those of others (like Kyle's.)

Awesome indeed!
I love his whole attitude and disposition.
(Worlds away from the robotic, same old cliched gibbering, from so many other QBs and others)
I so wish him (and the 49ers of course) much continued success!
Go Niners!

He has a very good shot at being the Super Bowl MVP if he plays close to that level the rest of the year

Brock has beaten Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and Phillip Rivers.

Never thought I'd say that about a 25 year old.

Just crazy that all three had starts well into their 40s.

Need Drew Brees to come out of retirement.
