I remember agreeing with you to a degree that Aiyuk was overrated. But that was ranking him more like a top 15 top 20 receiver than a top 5 guy… and I still held him in slightly higher regard than you did.

Calling this is a congested set up is absurd though. It's an absolute embarrassment of riches. Brock's job couldn't have been easier and to his credit he did it very well.

And somehow that means that his season was solely because of Brock? An honest opinion would be that they mutually benefitted each other, but saying it was a one way street is an obvious dishonest take meant to unreasonably prop up one player.

Aiyuk was one of the best separators in the league when healthy (even last year when he struggled pre-injury). How can that possibly be because of Brock?

Matt Ryan was a good QB who had one of the greatest seasons in NFL history under Kyle, lol. He had one other season in his career that began to approach it, but still fell considerably short.

Wrong thread, then. I know the QB and coach are intertwined, but it's interesting that Shanahan is your focal discussion point right after a game in which Brock s**t the bed.
