He played very well considering he had been off for over a month. His scrambling, both intended and forced, serve a purpose to slow down the rush.

His numbers were not all that impressive apart from the TDs, however, it wasn't like receivers were running wide open all day. AZ's defense is not all that bad.

The fact the offense opened up with longer gains, not only in the air but also on the ground, speaks volumes about Purdy's command of the offense and Shanahan's confidence in him.

Well, each QB played a game against the Cardinals this year. With Mac, we scored 16 points and with Purdy, we scored 41.

Purdy's numbers were pretty good outside of yardage. That's not necessarily a statement about the offense though. We had short fields a lot in that game.

Az's defense was bad coming in and they were really bad today. Very little pressure, especially early…. Seemed like we could do whatever we wanted.
Nice easy game to get his legs back under him and get playing time again.

The turnovers and penalties helped hide a lot today. I didn't look at his stats I just watched him play and was not impressed.got away with a few should be ints. Held the ball too long and missed open guys. Best thing he did today other than the kittle pass was give Mac time to heal up. We will need him.
I was very impressed with purdy. Pushes the ball, did not check down all game, and generally took advantage of the coverages.

Not sure how anyone watching this wasn't impressed

He's a very good qb.
yea he made the simple throws and that is GOOD! Still looking mentally rusty here and there, triying to HANG IN THE POCKET just like kyle wants even though his legs vwant to SCOOT. why not let him do it? let brock be brock. oh well thats why shanny gets paid the big bucks. hope it turns out well.

my favorite plays were when he TOOK THE SACK and threw it away a couple times NOT playing hero ball. thats been a problem in the past. but not today. so good first step back.

He did nothing impressive. He had one nice pass to kittle but hey we did win and that's what counts.

Mac put up 16 points vs this defense.

No Kittle in that game. Had to throw it 41 times due to lack of efficient running game. His only consistent target was Pearsall. But the team won today so it's all that matters

And the Cardinals had essentially the same defense + 2 guys freshly active in Nolen and Ojulari who they considered upgrades.

We did have Kittle this time though.
