Is it? Cuz the metrics from that game had him 100% dealing.

Given how Seattle has played since, Purdy did a great job.

You sure Purdy did a great job and not Bosa and Tonges?

After all Purdy threw two picks.

I'm just taking my homer glasses off and looking at it from another angle.

Yes I'm sure. The metrics I mentioned have nothing to do with Homer glasses.

Just some I saw. And once again he played half that game with a bad toe injury and no Kittle most of the game and no Jennings late. It was basically CMC and Pearsall.

Which is why I was saying using his Jags game where he was clearly impacted by the injury shouldn't wipe away what he did against Seattle.

I don't think Purdy is anywhere near actually playing. They're just saying it every week in hopes of getting some advantage in making teams prep.

I actually am not sure he plays until MNF against Carolina or after @ Cleveland before the bye.
Brock definitely not playing this Sunday, Kyle just using him as a chess piece right now.
To much overthinking on some of this... You are what the Record states.
He can't even make it thru an entire week taking 1st string practice. How's he supposed to play? Show me an entire week taking all the work and we can talk. If he's not ready he's not ready. Don't push him back in.

What's interesting is the Patriots were deciding between Tom Brady and Tim Rattay with that pick.. but went with Brady because of his height I believe. Tim Rattay back then had a bunch of college records going into the draft.

The fact that the 9ers still were willing to take a QB again (Rattay) late in the draft, says that there might have been a chance the 9ers would have took Tom if he was still available...and yes over Tim Rattay.

I don't think he is either. And I am concerned they are pushing him more than they should be. Why is he practicing when it still needs to heal up? But yeah, they are just saying things I think.

Great statement when it fits your narrative, but if it had any truth then the team with the best record would win the sb every year

Some are trying to claim Brock has been Shadow Benched because of this...

But with the way Mac has been playing, why rush him back if he's questionable? If we had a garbage QB right now, I'd understand.. but that is not the case.
Brock Hurty. Damn in wanted him back this week.

I hope they stick with Mac for the rest of the season now and let Brock completely heal up for next year

Just sit him at that point. If Mac has us in playoff position there's no need to push him back in.
Even if Mac won them a SB, Purdy would start next season. You cannot have 54 million sitting on the sidelines.

Absolutely not. If Mac wins a SB with this make shift roster, you trade Brock and take whatever cap hit.
