Is it? Cuz the metrics from that game had him 100% dealing.

Given how Seattle has played since, Purdy did a great job.

You sure Purdy did a great job and not Bosa and Tonges?

After all Purdy threw two picks.

I'm just taking my homer glasses off and looking at it from another angle.

AND you'd be wrong

I guess so I would be. Brock did have 74% cmp%, pretty damn good.

Yeah, Seattle is a good team. To go in there and get a win is not easy.

I didn't think the Jags game was that bad either. He was off and still should have thrown for around 400 and got the win if it weren't for the 6 drops. 6 drops in a game is crazy

Yes, that was pretty crazy.

I just want him back to 100% - then lets go.

I knew after that game and mostly later in the season we would be looking at Seattle different. They are a top NFC Team right now, no doubt about it. Whether they were ready, rusty, not 100% clicking yet, etc....the Niners went in there and beat them. I don't know how anyone looks at that game with negativity. 2 picks, ice pick, hair picks, whatever. Yea we needed a couple miracles, but the Niners beat them...and the Rams. Our "humbling" game was against Tampa and that honestly wasn't that bad. We need to stop being so scared of teams and just accept the fact that Kyle is coaching his butt off and our depth is holding it together. Not all the time, but they are keeping the boat afloat.

Also, I don't care if a team is 13-0 and the division rival is1-12. Division rivals almost ALWAYS play each other in tough, physical, close games.
Nothing to do with Brock but cool story and what could have been

Is this about the 2023 offseason after Purdy's elbow injury? Already heard him complain about the 2000 Draft and 2020 offseason many times so want to make sure this story is a little different at least 😂

I haven't watched it yet, but pretty sure the goat farmer is Giovanni Carmazzi, the QB we took instead of Brady in the draft.

Solomon Thomas over Mahomes. Hindsight always is clearest.

I agree hindsight shows Mahomes was the clear pick. But I would argue that we shouldnt have needed hindsight to pick someone else.

It just does not make any sense how Shanny felt that Mahomes was a freak of nature after studying him, but he went with a good looking DT in Thomas... and we had HOYER as the starter...

Nobody drafted Brady. Every NFL team had five chances at him. FIVE ROUNDS. Every single team passed. Until the Patriots decided they needed a camp QB and selected Brady. That's what he was. A camp QB. Nothing more. He was not widely panned coming out of college. He was nowhere near the "must draft" list. Brady was an afterthough. Nothing more. Sorta like Brock. The only difference is that Brady won Championships. Brock hasn't. Yet.
Football just isn't the same, not as exciting as it was with BP

Dan Orlovsky thinks there's a QB controversy afoot, who gives a flying f**k what the hell he thinks there certainly was never a controversy with him because he f**king sucked.

Purdy doesn't throw picks. It's always someone else's fault.

If Purdy comes back and has 2 or 3 dud games in a row, I smell a QB controversy brewing….
