Are any of you ready to retract your emotionally-driven postgame takes?

All Brock has to do is win this game and all is forgotten and we stay atop this competitive division. Nothing else matters and one bad game does not defines one's career

Mac will have to do it for him.
Holy f**k what am I reading here

I like Brock as much as the next guy but even Jimmy was great with CMC in 2022 and we all know that Jimmy wasn't great. If Jimmy had stayed healthy that season he would have gotten another extension.

Brock isn't a great QB. He never was an he never will. He is a mid-tier QB that got the luxury of playing in an offense full of All-Pros in 2022-23 and he took full advantage of it like any mid-tier QB would do it and got paid because of that. Since 2024 we have seen Brock with a less talented offense and he has turned into a turnover machine because he wants to do things that don't match his talent because he isn't aware of his physical limitations and that hurts the team and he used to do the same in college. Now we can have the excuse of the turf toe but last year he was healthy and he threw picks left and right in the 4th quarter with the games on the line.

We all know this but most of you guys are too snowflakes to admit an ugly truth that's why you keep making excuses.

Brock isn't great and Mac isn't great either. The next great QB of this franchise isn't on the roster yet.

#6 in QBR despite playing 1.5 games with maybe the most horrendous injury in the NFL this season (2nd worst injury goes to Tyreek Hill.)

Nah bro, Purdy didn't exactly have the best ball placement.

Ya he struggled because of his toe. Anyone who actually wants to not be biased saw that. That's not the Purdy we know.

With that said, best ability is availability.
Adjusted qbr for drops? Most horrendous injury? good grief. The simple truth is he had yet another bad game with multiple turnovers and they lost. I like the guy and hope he can rebound but right now he is playing reckless. Now we hear he may not play against the rams. I did not see or hear he got hurt on Sunday. Does that mean he wasn't 100%? Either way having him play the way he did is not good for the team. He should fully heal before suiting up again. If he was 100% then we have more problems than anyone wants to admit. You can throw all the stats you want and you can come up with every excuse under the sun to minimize the truth but it won't change the fact that we are back to having a qb1 problem. The only thing that is undetermined is how big of a problem do we have? Best case scenario is it's injury related. worst case scenario, I can't even bring myself to say it.

Yes and anyone who watched it objectively and cares about this team would agree. Brock played poorly. Yes some passes were dropped and yes the team has other concerns but those don't negate or excuse how poorly he played. He is stacking the wrong kind of stats. That needs to change. I will gladly take him being injured as the reason over having to look for another qb1 and if that is truly the case then don't play him until he heals.
So many excuses for poor play 🙄. Brock has been mid to bad for the last 8 or 9 games he's played in.

I remember you describing QBR as 'unreliable' and 'trash' among other things. 'It favors running QBs!'

Look at you now.
