I would not be surprised if we kick ass Thursday. Weird game. I fully expect Kyle to rip some new a*****es this week and nobody gonna want to go thru that again. I will hold judgement till Thursday night..a win and it's a clean division sweep so far and this game can be buried for now.

Its hard to believe we'll win. We didn't hit Lawrence once and had most of the day to throw. Staffard has Nacua and Adam's. Nacua averages nearly 100 yes a game I believe. Adam's is gonna be covered by rookie Stout?

We'll probably need to score a lot of points to have a chance. Time for Brock to stop playing it safe and start letting it rip. He needs to go into every play thinking about how he can make it worth $50 million.

Instead of logic, let's just say f Purdy and call it a day lol

In all fairness, if posters like you and tankle dont constantly VASTLY overrate him when things are clicking,...maybe we can avoid a few of these fans jumping off the bridge when they discover he's human.

Give him the tools and he's a better QB than Jimmy,...but given the physical limitations,...there's alot more than remains to be seen. Will he grow? Or has he already peaked?

Bench for who? Lol.
Krueger was right. Said the foot bothered him in practice and was sailing throws all week.

Id say its his processing, anticipation throws and mobility in navigating the pocket that are all borderline elite.

I dont think his decision making has ever been a strong suit. he was always doing dumb crap at iowa state. in 2022 kyle somehow was able to close the lid on bad decisions and it probably was the best risk-averse version of Brock, but it also was worth saying that team was loaded and he wasnt under pressure to convert or lead a TD drive often.

Weve seen a lot of his strong points get countered. Teams dont really buy his eye manipulation and pump fakes as much. Teams will rotate coverages a lot to bait him into throwing into coverages he thinks are open. Brian Flores still gives Brock nightmares. Teams will play him careful on the edge accounting for his short burst.

One thing I wanna see is for kyle to get purdy out of the pocket more. During that last TD drive I noticed he was out of pocket more and he was dicing.
No run game and a s**t OL, Purdy wasn't great but this stems from a s**t draft strategy.

Agree with this.

We have been stagnant. He does well with play action and moving the pocket.
It still fascinates me that Kyle figured he can get a guy to just run his system and then he can go toe to toe with the likes of Lamar Jackson Josh Allen Pat Mahomes etc. We shall see. Today's game is a different animal and I have seen the QBs that are winning so with all the draft capital we gave up to bail on Trey for Brock we HAVE to be right and we HAVE to win it all after signing him to the deal we've signed Brock to

I desperately want Kyle to be right this time but it still befuddles me why we passed on Mahomes because we thought we might be able to get Kurt god damn Cousins the following offseason. How asinine could we be?

Still hurts we gave up a 5 YPC back where we could have faced a lot more second and third and shorts. Could've helped Brock in that regard. Instead we out here running gadget toss edge run plays with CMC because we gave away our sledge hammer

Built in excuse, he played so the foot was fine.
