No time to sleep. Must make many internet comments to shed anger.

He is nothing without the supporting cast. I hate that it's become abundantly clear.. the haters who said this have been proven right..

The lack of weapons is a BIG deal. Not a single healthy WR on the team. Tonges is the closest and he has a nick.

Listen, you can't make this excuse for a year and a half, I'm sorry. Purdy has been nothing more than mediocre for a looooong stretch. He isn't getting better, and when you make the money he makes, you need to start carrying the team.

It's hard for me to blame ourdy when his wr are always hurt and his offensive line is inconsistent at best. When someone is open the o line messes up. When nobody's open the line gives him time lol

its fair to say he has regressed but I put that on Kyle giving him crap protection. The injuries are simply ridiculous.

This is more or less how I see it. Defenses are dictating to our offense because they are controlling the line of scrimmage. When they drop seven, Purdy has time but has to force throws. When they bring five or more, the OL collapses. I want to see our offense dictating the rhythm, not the other way around. To me, that starts in the trenches.

Yup and so far TW hasn't been that good either. It's insane that our top 4 wr are all hurt and or out.

Ricky, JJ, and Robinson all suited up today. He nearly got all three of them killed.

Literally and should have never forced that ball to CMC.. it's amazing how much slack these people give him after being a below average qb last year and in the two games he's played this year

but oh yeah KB dropped the ball, didn't he make up for making a big catch on a ball that floated over his head

That's just not realistic. No QB has ever done that.

No QB has ever carried a team despite injuries to his star players? Are you kidding?

Nope. He always needs help from his OL and the skill players around him. He doesn't pass it to himself. He doesn't block for himself. He usually isn't the one running the ball.

And they usually need a defense to keep a game close.

So yeah, I stand by my statement.

Hyperbole gets you absolutely nowhere. There's an enormous difference between what you're saying and what my point is, and you know that.

The very concept of a QB winning a game all by himself is hyperbolic.

A QB is responsible for what he can control. So, in Brock's case he can control the accuracy of his passes better than he has recently. He can protect the ball in a messy pocket better.

He's obviously not the best to ever play QB but he's far from the worse. He had a rough game. He made mistakes that contributed to the loss. That's football.

He's also had many, many games where he played great and contributed to wins.

We'll see how the season plays out.

Did anyone besides biggest homers really think this is an elite team ? An elite team doesnt struggle for two years in the redzone to punch in TDs...

This was tabbed by everyone to be a rebuilding year. Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on your view) our schedule is quite easy so they could make the offs if they catch a few breaks here and there.

I think my concern is more on offense rebuilding than defense. Defense wise I can still see a path. These young guys making mistakes but theyre baptized by fire. You can see the vision of stopping the run up front with lots of speedy fast and good tackling on the backside.

I see no vision for offense now. I have seen it in 2019 and 2022/23. A bully running team in 2019/2022 and a finesse, high level playmaker, smashmouth team in 2023
Theyre not a run first team, they are not a good pass offense. What are they ?

Guys like Juice, Trent, CMC and even Kittle will be very old very soon. Theres no real future there. The team should be preparing to pass the baton at those positions and ease some new blood in, yet it just keeps on postponing it. Defense has ripped the bandages off this year. Time for offense to do it next year, as the schedule will be tough (AFC west lol). Should been forcing guys like James and Watkins in...yet we got old guys like Bourne who have no business playing here for the future.

Been saying this for awhile. You can't extend a mediocre qb..kills the team!

Minute Phins and Dallas extended Tua and Dak…it was over for those teams. It's fun when they are cheap but gets really really hard when they aren't.
I don't see a competitive man with fire anymore. He legit doesn't even look upset when he's soiling himself on the field.

he looks like the Manchurian candidate out there. Jesus

You don't really have much choice. There's only 3-5 QBs "worth" the big money, but 15-20 guys are gonna get paid the big money. That's how the league works.

HCs can't just try a new rookie QB every 3rd year trying to find that Top 3-5 guy because they'll be out of a job if they do. Kyle trie to find that guy ONCE in the last decade and it blew up in his face.
Soft, Slow, and a journeyman

200+ million

Laughable. Lynch should be fired just on that contract alone. I detest Purdy for knowing he stinks and still bargaining for Josh Allen money. Get that bum off the franchise I live and die for.
