Jimmy didn't have a strong arm either. It was better than Brock's though. Brock is at the bottom in that category.

Still, you wouldn't put today's problem on a lack of arm strength. Accuracy… vision… timing… all off today.

I dunno... Some of his passes have plenty of zip but a lot more remind me of Shaun Hill ducks. I think his injury earlier in his career has had long term effects.

I'm so tired of watching this guy. Just awful mistakes constantly. Tons of time and he just throws it to the other team or fumbles. Why the f did we extend him?! Why? Why why why. Shanalynch are horrid at extending our guys

MAJOR team loss. Purdy will get the brunt of it because we still had a chance to win in the end but the Niners were sloppy from the start. I remembered today why I strongly dislike Kendrick Bourne.

I don't know why people couldn't see this after last year's play. I like Purdy. Seems like a good dude. He's definitely a NFL caliber QB but he's far from a franchise QB which is what this team needs now the defense isn't elite and the offense lacks explosive players. Everyone is old. Kittle, CMC, Trent, Juice.

Future is bleak, he never was a franchise qb, nor is he the answer , he will not win a superbowl IMO, with that said to me, we still need a qb

Last year I was saying Brock looked like nothing more than a mobile Jimmy G.

He looks even worse now. I'd be in favor of benching him for Mac if this continues.

His arm has been this way since day 1. It's a top reason he was drafted so low.

Again, both of his turnovers had nothing to do with that issue. I think film will show that clearly. First one he airmailed (he was high all day) into the middle of the field and had the unlucky ricochet….really a questionable decision too… Second one I don't think he saw the defender.

The lack of weapons is a BIG deal. Not a single healthy WR on the team. Tonges is the closest and he has a nick.

Listen, you can't make this excuse for a year and a half, I'm sorry. Purdy has been nothing more than mediocre for a looooong stretch. He isn't getting better, and when you make the money he makes, you need to start carrying the team.
