If it's game time decision it means still a lingering issue and I doubt he plays. Get him ready for the next week and beyond where all of this becomes real with Rams, Tampa etc.
This game against the Cardinals matters a lot. Being 2-0 in the division after 3 weeks would be huge.
Yep especially in a division that is going to be as competitive as ours.
i agree its an important game but thinking of the whole season i would hold him out if there is a reinjury risk. Being 3-0 with 2 division wins would be huge like you mentioned though but i think we can win with Mac Jones

If he plays this sunday it will be only because Shanahan wants to avoid a QB-controversy and that might backfire badly.
Just rest him and let Mac cook one more week.
only moron talking heads and moron fans think there is a brewing QB controversy in SF
If Colby is not playing and with all the other injuries just let him sit. This game will be a wash. I don't put him in to play with a half injured team.

It's a critical game against an unbeaten division opponent.

I wasn't getting my hopes up that he would be back, I hope he's fully healthy. Would hate to reagrivate it by rushing him back too soon.
I hope he balls out. Our offense really needs a boost and I hope we come out with a great spark.
