Not gonna lie I'm pretty nervous about it. Wish we knew Jennings could go, would make me feel better. Seattle D is going to be pretty good and while CMC, Kittle and Pearsall is still a pretty good group to work with it certainly becomes much easier for the opposing defense to account for them if nobody else out there can hurt you.

Getting Jennings out there and even with Juice gives Brock 5 guys who can burn a defense.

Also all the question marks on defense don't help the confidence level but unknowns can go either way. But definitely would feel more confident going into that game without the injuries and lack of snaps for guys expected to be big contributors early.

I just hate that we have to open on the road in two of the loudest stadiums to play. This team could easily start 0-2 despite having the talent to contend.

I'm not as worried about the noise. Most of the young players we have are on defense so I would expect the offense to handle the noise to a normal degree.

I'm more concerned about the defense's mental errors but they shouldn't be worried about the noise.

You have us losing to a Sam Darnold led Seahawks and a Spencer Rattler led Saints?

Sam Darnold cooked us last year.

We know that he will choke in the playoffs though due to poltergeist syndrome.

Yeah this Seahawks roster is nowhere near what the Vikings were, and he still showed the player he was in the playoffs.

So did most teams. Thankfully we got rid of the DC and made some changes. Doesn't mean Darnold won't cook this defense but I believe we're in much better hands now than we were then coaching wise. He also isn't likely to have Justin Jefferson.

I also wouldn't call 268 yards passing cooking especially when 97 of them came on one terrible play by the defense but it's also not fair to bash the guy cuz he can play some good QB when he's got protection and we have to prove we can get to him with this new DL.

I like it, I want to see how our players play when everything isn't going our way and we're in enemy territory. If we fail in these 2 games, we'll have the rest of the year to fix our problems.

Yea there was a play where we tried cover Jefferson with Brown and Odum. Other than that he wasn't great
The signing of MVS will definitely help Purdy, he's going to win MVP or SBMVP.
This is probably old news but it's pretty crazy.
I'm hoping we have a big time season from Brock. Especially with his safety blanket, CMC, back in the fold.

35 TDs 8 INT
4 rushing touchdowns

would be a fun season

Them's MVP-type numbers. Even if you're QB'ing Jacksonville.
Curious how Brock will protect himself this season. I hope he watched old Wassull Wilson tapes. I remember it was hard getting good hits on the little guy.

Start by not holding on to the ball as much as he did last season. He obviously has the skills to see the field and make quick, good, decisions.

He was an MVP candidate before! I hope he does it again. He's entering his prime!

I think he's going to have this offense rollin! Super efficient and potent again.
