QB Brock Purdy Thread

Some critique from his last game could be from his last throw to Kittle. He had CMC and Jennings wide open in the middle for a way easier first down throw. Luckily he made a throw well enough for Kittle to catch and hold on to.

a pic of what I'm referring too.

is this the redzone or webzone? i LUV the faithful because we are all so passionate about our team. Brock is exceeding all expectations and yet it is not enough for us because our baseline is JOE.

tell me, when Brock drops back and surveys the field, do you not see some Joe there? OMG, i see it and it's scary. Steve Young said he has "THE FORCE" in him. whatever Steve, that is a lazy comment.

But what Steve means is that Brock has the poise and confidence to take our team down the field when we need it the most.

Gotta love football and fans lol…it's such a week to week emotional rollercoaster. Couple weeks ago it was man we need to pay Jimmy $25M per. Tua was looked at as an MVP until he came to SF. Now he's playing like s**t.

People in here sucking the Rams nuts and how well they made that roster, complaining about not trading for Stafford…now they're a joke. We're on QB3 and guys like Rogers and Brady are a shell of themselves. Lawrence was a bust and not he's not. Hurts was regarded as a "running QB" now he's a MVP candidate.

how about ya'll take a breath enjoy the games and understand there's a whole hell of a lot that can happen by the 2023 season

One of the most opinionated people telling fans how to fan…
Wow

Wouldn't expect you to say anything different in here…pointing out that fans are emotional and reactionary isn't a wild take. Saying that things in the NFL change all the time isn't a wild take. You been paying attention to our team the past couple years?

Nope.
1st year I've watched this game of foosball.
Mighty interesting game

Merry Christmas NY!!

Lance will be here thru his rookie contract. Would be dumb to trade him.
if Purdy keeps playin like he is right now and we win a SB, I don't see Lance being QB1. I don't think Kyle would want to rock the boat and toss Purdy aside to let Lance learn to play QB. Would piss off players and would probably piss off Purdy even though he'd continue to act like a professional.
Just wouldn't make sense and again, JUST TO BE CLEAR only if Purdy keeps playing the way he is and we win the SB.

He has a calmness about him when he's looking downfield. Waiting for him to get into a 'gotta have it' moment to see how he responds.

it seems like a stupid, brutish sport, heh? dumb Americans just lovin... violence LOL.

but when you break it down play by play, it's the most interesting sport in the world, IMO. Rommel and Patton approve.

Yup. Almost want to see him take enough hits to rattle most....have a somewhat piss poor outing but trailing by 6 with 1:30 left in the game and get the ball on our 25.

I'm hoping that happens after we win the SB this year!

I agree, moon tossed a Joe Burrow like comp and while I usually laugh off everything he says…I kinda agree

HOLLA! who here thinks we're good enough?

Eagles (13-2)
Vikings (12-3)
Cowboys (11-4)

I feel our defense and offense will get us to the SB. Firing on all cylinders right now. We have the best D in the league, our offense has improved with BCB and Kyle is not only an intelligent play caller but his experience will manage our team through these difficult games.

Can we win the Suppa Bowl?

Bills (12-3)
Chiefs (12-3)
Bengals (11-4)

I'll take us over the Bills and Bengals. But damn, Andy and Mahomes, IDK... they have our number. betting odds will certainly be against us. they haven't faced BCB yet tho so... do we TRUST in BCB v Mahomes?

Mahomes is the better (best) QB but our D and O weapons are SICK AS s**t. Honestly, if BCB continues to consistently play as well as he has, I WILL TAKE US.

1. Kenny Pickett, Steelers, 20th overall
2. Desmond Riddler, Falcons, 74th overall
3. Malik Willis, Titans, 86th overall
4. Matt Corrall, Panthers, 94th overall
5. Bailery Zappe, Patriots, 137th overall
6. Sam Howell, Commanders, 144th overall
7. Chris Oladokun, Steelers, 241st overall
8. Skylar Thompson, Dolphins, 247th overall

9. Big Cock Brock, 49ers, 262nd overall

Big body, big arm, big speed, but can't play QB.

huh? If Purdy keeps playing the way he does and we DONT win the super bowl, he's still QB1.

He's the unicorn that's finding touchdowns in shannny's post-OZ offense. The odds will even out with picks. he'll average about.75 a game. But I don't see this guy fumbling AT ALL. With his downfield reads creating td throws that prevent Kyle from calling his way to underwhelming field goals, yea, Purdy a net plus.

He's still in the honeymoon period. A few more weeks we'll see how he handles game plans that hunt him. He will continue to look downfield and deliver if the opportunity is there. Every defense still watching old tape, game planning for last year. That kittle td was a perfect case in point. The safety ran up 3 steps before realizing kittle was not turning sideways. Hilarious stuff.
No matter what happens the rest of the way, this is an absolutely great story thus far.
