I like what i see so far but lets be real. its only been 3 games. there have been plenty of qbs that ball out and then fizzle out. hell some qbs have great SEASONS and then just start to suck. im happy so far but lets let the kid learn and dont put too much pressure on him

Correct, but he was technically not a rookie. I think he did win his 1st 7 or 8 dating back to his time with the Patriots
yeah but no pressure since we were not fighting for the Playoffs.

He's shown enough that with this current roster, I feel good about him being the presumptive starter unless he/Trey show us otherwise.
Would I give him a huge contract extension and commit to him? No, and thankfully, that decision doesn't happen for a couple years. We can watch things play out.
The sample size for Brock keeps growing, and he keeps showing more Positives. The deep TD to Kittle showed some nice velocity on a 30+ yard pass. His arm is better than what his college scouting reports indicated.

So Brock finally threw a real pick (first one was more like a punt). But it wasn't hit fault! Jauan tipped it up right to the defense, which led to points for the other team. Get that out now so it doesn't happen again.

Maybe Brock knows not to throw to him unless it is 3rd down. Good Learning experience.

The only controversy are those developed in this forum.
But fun XMAS win. Improved nicely in the second half.
Well we will see about that…
We will see indeed.
I'm down with whoever Kyle chooses. Glad the Jimmy lovers in this forum aren't making the decision that's for damn sure.
If Brock is a franchise QB he'll beat out Trey like he beat out Sudfeld and be named the starter. I'm down with the winner of that battle.

3rd int so far? He also threw a "real" pick last game but the defender had butter fingers.

It's been 3 starts, but that game against the Dolphins was as close to a full game as it can get without starting. Jimmy played I think one series before getting hurt? That's 4 good games in my book. IMO, Purdy has easily surpassed every QB not named Jimmy Garoppolo in the Shanny era.

I think a lot of Jimmt "lovers" just thought he was the better QB than Lance

Purdy had a chance at 4 tds but the YAC by Aiyuk and Kittle came up so close.

Save that 4+TD game for the Playoffs.

LOL, what a downer.
Why not enjoy it and expect it to continue?
Also, it has been four games.
