A washed rb?

yup, he's cooked

This isn't the jets offense and awful QB play. This is a top offense with a very capable qb. Cool has almost 1200 yards and 8 touchdowns last year, idk how he's washed. Lol

Idk if he's as good as he was but we will find out, I think it improves the ravens.

Despite all that, Breece Hall has a good season statistically. Wonder why Cook looked like he is cooked.

He's lost a few steps without question, but he's probably not a terrible depth piece in a run game like the Ravens. This is a no real impact move for me.

Great point. I thought the same thing as tankle. Poor O line probably contributed to cook's poor season but than I looked up Hall's performance and he has been solid this season

Cook is done, it started with Minny, he's had a very jacked shoulder for a long time, that required a lot of surg
there is a reason Minny flat cut the dude, and in NYJ he was RB3, until he chirped about play time, and NYJ accommodated by cutting Michael Carter, but Cook did not respond. His play has been awful. Guys like that are a dime a dozen, veteran has been RBs..

BAL understandably kicking the tires, as they are down Mitchell who was explosive, and Dobbins. Now Hill has taken over the explosive role, and Edwards is their thump. Cook kinda competing for BAL RB3, with Melvin Gordon.

Because Breece hall is good and got all the snaps. Cook only for like 4 snaps a game and played in the worst offense in the league. He had a really good year last year, only reason he isn't a Viking is because his contract.

can't wait for people to say ridiculous stuff, if we play the ravens again, like "can't believe a washed up rb is doing good against us". Lol literally no reason to think he's washed. He's 28 and coming off 1200 yard season 8 td and was let go of because his contract and no one wanted to take on a big rb contract.

Hall had a very mediocre year. 4.4 YPA and 800 rushing yards? 4 tds. He took all the snaps - cook only got 4 attempts a game. That jets offense was awful and the passing game was abysmal.

cook is essentially fresh. I'm not saying he's going to be amazing but to think he's washed is ridiculous.

Disagree here tank, he was RB3 in NYJ, that speaks some volumes, there was a reason Minny cut him, and a reason NYJ didn't play him, to the point he had to whine about play time. RBs, usually don't age very gracefully, and a lot of injury and surg I'm sure didn't help matters. I've liked Cook since FSU days.

What? Not reason to say he is washed?

Leonard Fournette
Kareem Hunt
Ezekiel Elliott
Todd Gurley
Rashaad Penny

You literally said he is 28, and that is really about time for a RB to be cooked. At this age the player needs to prove it to me he is not washed based on what he did this season.

gotta ask yourself why a team needing a lot of O help would keep a stud back on their bench and hardly play him
NYJ had good reason to play Hall and Carter was better also imo, they let go of Carter likely to placate Cook, a bad move in hindsight, should have just released Cook sooner tbh..

They had to placate ultimate moron Aaron Rodgers otherwise he wouldn't have been there in the first place.

We'll see. I don't expect him to be some all pro, but I think he's going to make their offense better. He's a dual threat running back.

minnesota cut him cause they didn't want to pay an aging rb $14M. Minnesota cut a lot of aging players to help their salary cap going forward. $14M is more than we pay CMC, who's the highest paid running back right now.

jets used breece hall, which they should have, but the offense was putrid regardless. You don't use RB2 a lot when your starting lineup can barely ever get a first down. They started using the third string because their season is essentially over and looking to the future about who they continue developing. So it makes sense why they started using the young guy who was RB3 all year late in the year, instead of the vet on a one year deal. They aren't playing for anything.

once again, I'm not saying cook is going to be Amazing. Im saying he will be a quality back with the ravens and make their offense better. I'd love to be wrong about this, I don't want them getting better.

I'm with you in that I was into Cook back in the day, he was the real deal
those Ravens for what they have done vs us, they have one coming to em, a beatdown hopefully Brock can slap em into the offseason, in the big game

Cowerd was saying on his Hot Takes that Hurts can come from behind and Purdy can't. Without Trent Williams and Deebo he can't do it. Hurts literally had a full deck doing that. Take Lane Johnson and AJ Brown out for a few games. Get behind and let me know how that goes. Because he had those guys in the lineup. I guess he doesn't see it.

We all love Brock but it is a true statement we have not come from behind and won from the second half. So Cowerd is a bit correct until we show otherwise but that stat can't last forever so not worried about it.

Take away the guys I said and sew how it goes. Or take out Tyron Smith and Ceede Lamb for Dak and see how it goes. Because they had those in the lineup. They were not minus those 2 guys. That's a big difference.

Exactly I was telling people take out an all pro receiver, and an all world left tackle which they can't, and their quarterbacks would be horrific compared to Purdy. Sorry it's the facts
Does anyone know where Purdy ranked in the all-time yards per attempt in NFL history? I know he was close to 9.9 ahead of Marino and Warner. Thanks
