QB Brock Purdy Thread

Brady would have had the same stigma if Vinatieri had missed his regulation kick against Oakland. It's a dumb thing to put on the QB's shoulders when half the time it's another player entirely that gives them their reputation.

That Moody kick was still just a FG. I think people are talking more about needing a TD or more in the 4th quarter. The way teams play D now every team had the ability to move down the field in the final 2 minutes and get in FG range. Starting from your own 25 only requires 40-45 yards to get in range. It's not hard to do that when teams are trying to prevent anything deep.

I don't think it's a big deal for Brock because the team hasn't trailed very often in the 4th quarter since he took over. It's one of those stats that means you have to be bad before you can be good. Montana said that if he and the team had played better early he wouldn't have needed those comeback wins in the 4th quarter.

As noted, relying on kicks seemed to work often for that Tommy Brady kid, who had a heck of a kicker on his squad.

Interesting that the raven's are saying us and Miami have tells on offenss. During the game, it def seemed like they knew what we were doing and when.

we still got a handful of explosive plays on them. f**k em. I like our chances against them the second time around, if we play em.

The Ravens are in for a big surprise during the playoffs. Let em keep talking all this trash. It's been stated several times, but if we rematch them it ain't going the same way. We leaned back in the regular season and will lean forward in the SB

Don't want to get ahead of ourselves but if we do make it to the SB all systems go and the Ravens are there too I wonder if Shanny can unleash CMC like he did against the Packers in 2019 with Mostert (220 rush yds, 4 tds).

Short answer: no.

How many games have you ever seen like that in the NFL playoffs?

Holy s**t, forgot Jimmy only threw 8 passes in that game, completing six. I guess the Bills stole our playbook against the Cowboys a few weeks ago.

John Harbaugh ain't no McCarthy. McCarthy for some reason wanted the ball out of the hands of Jimmy G.

Beyond the coaches they also have better players.

That Packers team was just a tomato can.

You talking about the 2019 NFC Championship? McCarthy wasn't the Packers' coach back then… unless you're talking about the 23-17 Cowboys playoff game?

It was about the '19 Championship when LeFleur was HC.

Neither of those guys are running the defense either way.

My mistake. John Harbaugh ain't no Matt Lafluer.

This isn't the jets offense and awful QB play. This is a top offense with a very capable qb. Cool has almost 1200 yards and 8 touchdowns last year, idk how he's washed. Lol

Idk if he's as good as he was but we will find out, I think it improves the ravens.
