agreed. i had initially thought his arm was noodley because of that TD to Aiyuk vs TB but i had not seen how the pass rush affected the throw.
Great video with film breakdown!

Wow, Brett Kollman is doing work for NFL.com? I haven't watched his stuff in years, but biiiiig salute to him. That's huge.

Great video, too!

He does a good job adjusting his touch to suit the situation.

Pass to CMC he dropped in the end zone was zipped right in between defenders, the TD pass to juice was with that "trailing leg" we hear qb coaches talk about--and was still perfectly placed.

...and he's hitting the easy throws without airmailing it and maintains his accuracy when he rolls out. That's very promising.
Just like Jimmy G had his chance to become great and special in 2019. Purdy gets his chance to show the world that he is a real QB and will get his chance to become great.

he's shown that he's not afraid to throw it into really tight windows. that might lead to some picks in the future, but i don't want him to stop being aggressive. his aggressiveness has seemingly elevated this offense in his few appearances so far.
It's just so d@mn fun watching Niner football now. I have to admit, I was about to say F it at the start of the season. We have a VERY real chance to go win #6. For the first time in a long time, I tune into the game "expecting" to win. Not just 'hoping' or 'knowing' we should win. What a feeling!
Thank you Kyle!
Thank you Brock!
Thank you Bosa!
Thank you CMC!
Thank you team!!
The fall in here is going to be epic.

He's gonna be great for many years to come. Good luck Jimmy in the AFC

Daniel Kelly thought that Trevor Lawrence was a bust. Yeah Trevor Lawrence.

As for Brock Purdy, he ´s clearly the type of QB Bill Walsh would like.
Accurate, really nimble, good footwork, good scrambler.
