Purdy is playing very well. The team has rallied behind him, where they could have folded the season with another QB down with injury, We have seen that happen to teams plenty of times. We have seen teams rally behind a young QB before as well… though not near as often (I don't think).

How cool and extraordinary to watch this season continue to unfold! Dang fun too!

Agreed. I think many may be overlooking the fact that coaches and players have known who Purdy was since before the season. Doesn't sound like the team is surprised by any of this. For fans, it's pretty new and some are having a hard time accepting it and are waiting for the other shoe to drop. Understandably so.

It is not necessarily about him. It is more about the team. With this defense and playmakers on offense, he doesn't have to play that well for us to win games.

It is not necessarily about him. It is more about the team. With this defense and playmakers on offense, he doesn't have to play that well for us to win games.

Not playing well loses playoff games. But to expect wins with a 3 game rookie is harsh. Heck we haven't even finished the season.

This team is as talented as the 2019 and 2021 team. What were the playoff records for the 2019 and 2021 team? And did how many of these playoff games did our QB played well?

Agreed, almost every skill player we have on offense has big play ability whenever they touch it. He just needs to get them the ball. He looks ridiculously comfortable with the progressions and hitting who's open. He's got a 66.7 completion percentage. That'll work! I'm still tempering my expectations for the playoffs though.

Shanny's always been the hot hand kinda guy. Lance hurt, Jimmy hurt and MIGHT come back and Brock is tearing it up. I don't see him making a switch back to Jimmy if Jimmy becomes healthy enough to play.
