This is wrong. Just flat out wrong.
The 49ers are 4th in the entire league converting 3rd downs, converting at a 46.4% rate.
The 49ers are 21st in the entire league at stopping 3rd downs on defense, allowing a conversion 40.6% of the time (that number is slightly worse over our last 3 games).
did you even consider that we have the least 3rd down attempts ?
Avg 17 points a game in the last 3 games is not moving the ball
![]()
The offense tallied 460 yards in the last game.
moving the ball well would result in more points or at least more FG attempts if we can't capitalize on TDs
Yards aren't indicative of "Moving the Ball"?
I underlined the word "well" that you seemed to miss.
460 yards is 30 more than the average of the Dolphins, who are #1 in the NFL. Not sure what your definition of "well" is, but I think that's pretty good.
106 of those yards came on the last two drives when the game was effectively over.
That leaves 354 which is still 8th best in the NFL in terms of average. The Niners rank 4th in the NFL at 376.6 YPG. They move the ball very well.

First half offense has been good, the issue has been TOs for the most part, missed FG, and penalties.
We'll be fine, I'm sure this we'll get cleaned up.

two of the 3 losses came against well rested defenses off byes and we should have stayed in the Midwest for the Minn game

Heck Brady is the goat, he had limitations, he can't run like Vick or Josh Allen. I don't call any guy limited or this guy has limitations, unless the guy is so limited that he can't do the job. Like Z Wilson. Btw, Trey had major limitations, so limited he's no longer in town. KS saw the limitations and said this guy ain't it. Probably what NYJ should have done in the offseason with Zach. That's two top 3 overall pick guys. So limited they probably don't belong in the league. Favre had limitations,
we get it you like arm talent, most every QB has limitations, unless you truly want the elite QB who can move and throw like Elway, those guys aren't common, this is the best KS can do folks, Brock.
Limitations exist for damn near every player. No one is saying it doesn't. Trying to poo poo arm talent at a position where he literally is throwing a football is dumb.
he can't make plays that other elite QBs can make in todays game….Just doesn't have that tool in his tool belt. Doesn't mean he sucks or can't be a good QB. The sooner you accept that is a limitation (and matters) vs downplaying the importance the better. Once he was named the guy. I accepted it…doesn't mean it's not an issue and never will be.
It's the same s**t ya'll tried to downplay with jimmy (for years) because he was the QB of the team you love. Dude can't push the ball downfield, especially on the outside. For years ya'll pretended it didn't matter. f**k we lost a Super Bowl in part because of it. Now look at JG. Benched after half a season away from SF. I will say even Brock is better at that than Jimmy.
Look I like Brock and he's got other attributes that matter a f**k ton. He can be successful here. He's also got a much less margin for error when the game plan gets moved around. We've seen that now for the past 3 games.

he's not getting picked due to arm talent
for example, the Mitchell int, that was a bad decision, arm had nothing to do with it, throwing into a double coverage at the end vs MIN, arm talent wouldn't have saved that either, a CLE int that slipped out of his hand, not a arm talent issue, TL had it slipping out of his hand also in conditions, and you love his arm talent, right?
when QBs get down late, they have to make plays they normally don't have to make, Sam knows all about it he has plenty of arm talent, and has made the same dumb ints late in games. So your arm talent is the issue theory, doesn't ring true to me. Besides, his arm is fine. He can drive it, not like Elway or Kaepernick, but he's not Pennington either, in terms of his fastball.

It's as if more than arm strength is needed at the QB position
