Still, yards shouldn't be your rebuttal You hate yards and called anything besides the W stat, fantasy football stats. Keep the same energy like you did with Jimmy.

It's TOs and lack of RZ scoring (RZ TOs are the f**king worse).

I tried telling people that turn-over-worthy plays mattered as far as correlation goes… and his ridiculous RZ numbers weren't sustainable. All I got was a ton of you hate this or that blah blah blah. Or just didn't like that stat because it s**t on a narrative.

those TOW plays from last yr that weren't getting INTed are now. Happens. He's young and developing part of the process. Hopefully he improves there, it was an issue in college too though.

They're moving the ball, but they're not scoring so who cares end of the day?

I don't think it's a defense vs offense thing. They both feed off each other. The D has been pretty damn bad and no one should be denying that. The offense can't run the ball, miss FGs, and keep turning the ball over at the worst time possible. Neither is doing their job imo.

Not important but just curious.

One of brock's greatest attributes early here was taking care of the ball…that's been an issue the past 3 games. That was also a problem in college. If you have limitations like Brock you can't be turning the ball over. He's not Brett Favre

The point with bringing up Brett is he could turn the ball over (gunslinger mentality) and still make explosive plays on any play to make up for that bad play. At this point we haven't seen Brock be able to play from behind and make up for those mistakes. Can he? Hope so.

The argument was that the offense didn't "move the ball" and thats why the 49ers lost the TOP battle. Why shouldn't yards be a counter argument to that claim?
