If Brock had a BIG, STRONG ARM like JaMarcus Russell or Ryan Leaf, he would have fired that throw to Mitchell right through the linebacker's arm for a laser 2 yard pass. But he doesn't have the arm to throw 2 yard passes like that. He also would not have thrown that second pick, because he would have fired it right through that linebacker's hands.

To be a successful QB in the NFL, you need to throw at least 10-12 deep outs per game. The only QBs who have any success these days are doing it Troy Aikman-to-Michael Irvin style. Just 5-7 step drops, set, fire 110 MPH bullets on deep comebacks and outs. That's what Goathomes is doing in Kansas City. Just threading needles into tight windows over and over again and never throwing any interceptions. Andy Reid isn't a genius who schemes guys wide open like Kyle Shanahan. It takes a special kind of QB to have any success with a play caller like Andy Reid, like an A.J. Feely or a Koy Detmer or an Alex Smith or a Michael Vick or a Donovan McNabb or a Matt Moore coming off coaching high school football.

You need a CANNON arm like Steve Young and Joe Montana had. The WCO was all about throwing a combination of 20 yard laser outs and 60 yard bombs on every play.

But Bwock's awm is weak. He is getting intercepted because of his weak awm.

He is holding back this amazeballs defense and supporting cast. Deebo should be running 20 yard deep outs and comebacks all the time, because he reminds me of Isaac Bruce.

Also, Bwock holds back the running game, because teams know he's not going to beat them deep, so they crowd the box and stuff the run. You can't run without a huge threat at QB.

Just ask Adrian Peterson. He had Christian Ponder and his big, stwong awm at QB the year he ran for 2,000 yards. Teams feared Ponder, who was way more talented than either Bwock or Brett Favre or Tom Brady, because he went 12th overall while they went Mr. Irrelevant and 2nd round and 6th round, beating them with the deep ball and his overall greatness throwing the football.

Teams also feared great QBs like Anthony Wright for the Ravens when Jamal Lewis ran for 2,000 yards, and Vince Young for the Titans when Chris Johnson did it. Bwock is nowhere near that class.

Defenses go, "AHHHH! We really want to stop this dominant running back, but if we do, Ponder/Wright/Vince will light up our defense through the air! AHHHH!"

We need Sam Darnold and his BIG, STWONG AWM in the game to prevent interceptions. Darnold was a high draft pick, which means he's way more talented than Purdy or Dan Marino, and he would NEVER throw a pick. He would make every throw and go to the HOF playing for the genius, Kyle Shanahan.

BP seemed to feed off his good vibes, come back tank
Been in a constant state of waiting for the wheels to fall off ever since our losses to the Rams when they were the greatest show on turf.
Good thing about that is, no matter what happens I'm never disappointed lol.

Brock's success really had me believing this time though, hopefully this 3 game slide is just a small bump in the road.
Brock Purdy just has to get that eye of the Tiger back.

Brock just needs to learn there is nothing wrong with a check down or throw the ball away to live for the next play. And quit trying to get those weak passes over the MLB's head.

Those "weak passes over the MLB's head" have resulted in some of the best throws I have seen from Niner QBs in years.

I think he's confusing the passes over the MLB with the passes right to the MLB. Those are the passes he needs to stop

When did we trade for Jimmy G? need to undo this trade and get Purdy back.
