Right. We saw what happened in Denver when Jimmy was in that situation. He lost track of where he was and stepped out of the back of the end zone. Jimmy has way more experience and still messed up. That's more of a compliment to Brock than it is a criticism of Jimmy. In those situations teams apply extra pressure to force a bad throw or get a sack or safety. Purdy stayed cool and didn't mess up at a time when it could have turned the game around. How many times have we seen games in Seattle turn on something like that?

He's not wrong but probably shouldn't have said that outloud. LOL
Kyle was just continue to build on the Cinderella narrative. We may need that so the referee will make the calls for any borderline illegal hits on the QB. We know big name QBs get some calls that other QB don't. Now I am sure the NFL will tell the ref to look out for Purdy as this Cinderella story continue to go viral.

Which is why I was soo angry the returner didn't fair catch it around the 10. You only let it go if it is going to fall behind the 5 yard line.

Went to the game last night and had really good seats. What stands out about Purdy is he has excellent fluid hips (unlike Jimmy or Trey). He just looks smooth! He kinda glides around in the pocket and is able to keep the play alive.
It's obvious that the Niner receivers aren't used to this as they are not making secondary moves when the play breaks down. Now that Purdy is at the helm, Niner receivers need to improve dramatically to improve in this area. It's not a knock on our receivers but more of a testament that Jimmy is primarily a first read QB and if the first read isn't there, the play is often dead.
Came away impressed with Purdy! Fantastic environment last night and there were a ton of Niner fans in Seattle!

BCB is what I always wanted Jimmy G to be... only thing now is can Glock Purdy perform like this consistently... his body of work from college suggests that this will happen.
BCB QB1, keep Lunch Trey as backup but convert him to a TE and he can do some Tayson Hill stuff... Jimmy is the odd man out and only reason we let him go is due to being locked into TL's contract unless we can pawn him off for some draft picks

I noticed the same thing at the Dolphins game, receivers need to help him out when he gets flushed

Well my daughter observed that he is very calm in the pocket and is always moving his feet and looking down field. When one looks down field good things happen. Hope he can stay healthy i think they got a good one.

You're playing great.
But do it in the playoffs or you're the backup next year.
Hope you do and bring us #6.

Bill Parcells rules for drafting a qb. apparently scouts did not get the memo from the other 31 teams.

Be a senior in college. check
Graduate from college. check
Start 30 games. 42 games
Win 23 games. way more
Post a 2-1 touchdown-to-interception ratio. check
Complete at least 60% of passes thrown. check
