I saw the int's on the news...after a Brock Purdy Tundra commercial no less LOL and well they sucked. All interceptions do though. Not jumping ship yet, not like we can anyway!

Crimson and gold till I'm dead and cold!

OL sucked, Brendel shoved into Juice on a 3rd and short.. lil tired of KS trying Juice runs on 3rd and short into packed fronts. With no push up front.

BP was our leading rusher lol, I think 56 non BP rush yds, as a team, that's poop

Yikes! I think McCaffrey is more injured than we know and that sucks. That's another thread though! I hear he scored again though! Yah om not jumping ship yet!

Kid needs his confidence back. He'll be fine. He isn't Elite, and ainstill want the tr to get an Elite QB. Haven't won a SB since we had one, says something, ya know

I think CMC is healthy, he looked spry on the TD last week, had a TD again this week, but the yards are tough to come by between the tackles, then we get behind schedule and ultimately behind in the game, and that's when bad Purdy comes out

Ok with BP being the leading rusher. I was thinking he didn't get many attempts for one reason or another. Glad he looks healthy. BP needs to get his confidence back. He will be a great QB for the team until they can get a stud.

Cheers to that search and BP's ability to hold down the fort until then 😁

Edit very bad grammar typos

He's still only a 2nd year QB. Pretty inexperienced. INTs happen, especially when you're trying to push it to compensate for poor defense and no running game. We shouldn't be relying on Purdy to do that.

Fred is on point with this one. We absolutely need to be able to do this if we want to win the SB.

So what's happening is teams are dropping down a 5th defensive linemen and it's blowing up the run blocking scheme.

The interior rushing attack is basically non-existent due to the interior line getting destroyed.

Kyle's trying to counter by bouncing it outside, but that's being shut down as well.

The majority of Brock's runs today were not QB designed runs, they were scrambles.

yes he's making mistakes and had costly ones but the defense literally does nothing. If not for a fumble and a missed field goal (which are mistakes on the Bengals account), cincy was scoring on every single drive.

I haven't seen the defense this bad in a long long time. Chip Kelly era.

A bad Brock INT directly lead to 7 points for Cincy in a close game. The defense wasn't great but the QB was just as bad in the 2nd half.

Yep, Kittle said it best after the game when he said that it's really hard to win in this league when your QB turns the ball over 3 times.

I dont deny his red zone turnover was horrible. But anyone blaming him needs to look at the defense and lack of a running game without TW.

My god, some of the dumbass takes on here. Purdy's the best thing we've had since Jeff Garcia or even Young and if he isn't f**king perfect or god forbid has a turnover then he's a "noodle" with no ability to take us anywhere. Unbelievable. This loss is on Wilks, period. Even if Purdy made zero mistakes he still would've lost a shootout.
it wasn't a shoot out, we lost cause we suck on offense throw INTs

LOL. THAT'S why we lost? You should actually watch the game before you comment.

He should. Yup.
i should?, you guys are the ones who fall in love with players.. then have to retract your love fest lol

He's been playing s**tty, nothing wrong with that. but pretending that late game INTs doesn't effect anything is really in denial.

Oh, was there someone else on the offense who turned it over 3 times today?

This is what Kittle actually said:

Turnovers, I would say. I don't read the stats every single week. I don't feel like as an offense we're running the ball a lot, very much or very well. I know that since I've been a 49er the outside zone has been our number one thing. We've had penalties the last three weeks, so it's hard to run the ball when it's first and twenty second and fifteen. It's hard to run the ball in those situations so we rely on the pass and we have to rely on the pass. It makes it one dimensional. One of the best things we do is run the football and we just put ourselves in a situation where we can't run the football. Whether that's turnovers, whether that's penalties, whether it's getting down in the fourth quarter. We have a good talented football team, we have good coaches and we're just not winning the game right now."

About Brock:

Brock is the reason we win football games.

Yes, but he is also a humoungous reason we lost today, last week, and the week before. If he doesn't throw those 2 picks during today's game then it's probably a 10 point turnaround and we end up winning or losing by a fg considering our sieve of a defense.
