He's a practice squad level guy who is listed at 3rd string. He should get some reps in the CFL.

Mahomes has 8 INTs
Hurts 8 INTs
Purdy has 5 INTs

Difference is 9er D can't make a stop. Cousins, Burrow carved them up.

The fact Aikman said it indicates something was said. I was surprised that Brock would have admitted it if it was. Hence, I see Shanahan's comment as damage control rather than a denial.

It would stand to reason that having been inactive as long as it was, it would take a good amount of time to get it back to full strength.

Our defense is awful right now. Our offensive line and WR group are banged up. He's still young. I think he will be fine.

It is dumbassery to draft a project QB third overall and then fail to make the investment in him like PHI did. It's asinine! Now when you forego developing Trey because "you know we got a Super Bowl team you know" well then hell we better see some damn results

Man this is crazy and we are getting what we deserve right now. I thought after we had the best defense in 2019 and lost to Mahomes Kyle had an epiphany. Then when Josh Allen walked all over us the following year he drafted Trey and I knew we'd turned a corner from Hoyer Jimmy and whoever that third rd WB was we drafted.

I thought we knew we needed to mold our own stud and have a guy that could be a consistent playmaker. Instead Kyle wants a "guy that can run his system". That's fine and all but I would rather draft a stud and then build a system around him

But let's see if Kyle and Brock can outsmart the league and win the chip is what I'll root for next half the season but it doesn't mean I'll like it

I like what purdy does and hated the picks both weeks but come on coach help the 2nd year player out. If he throws a pick how about couple easy completions instead of empty back field the next play.

AGAIN.... Purdy is NOT the problem.. no matter how limited he is, he's fine..
