We rushed him back. Not sure why we like to do this so much.

he is a young QB....

he is getting baited, on the flip side...he is in a constant state of HAVING to make the play every single game lately. Not like he Is getting a ton of help, crap pass blocking, crap run blocking, light on the RAC going for TDs. Defense is constantly getting roasted...

It is drive and score or loose

He does not have the luxury of taking a second look on a regular basis. It is throw the ball or get creamed.

I'm a big fan of your posts, but I disagree. Brock was erratic in college. That's his style. Kyle managed to hide it for about a season's worth of games. I don't see this getting better. Hope I'm wrong.

This!
No excuse. He has to do a better job taking care of the ball. He made a lot of good plays but none of that really matters if you turn the ball over. He is young and people got to remember that. A bad stretch no question but I still believe in him.

Challenges are part of the game. Let's see how he continues to work through it. Personally, I was encouraged with how he just put his head down and went back to work after the 2nd pick. Gotta have a short memory in this league.

This.

Yea let's give him 5 years at least lol

If he doesn't turn it around it won't get anywhere near that long.

Let's see how he does in two weeks against Jacksonville.

Lance nowhere near showed any of the positives that Brock did to be fair

they entire league didnt want him
I'm over it. Next man up
Kyle should have sat him this game after the concussion. Rushed him back when he obviously needed rest and time to regroup himself. Now he might be damaged goods.

I was more than willing to wait through Lance's mistakes. He got injured and couldn't win the job back. Different situation, as Purdy is healthy and played really well for 12 games before this losing streak. Just not the same thing.

Couldnt win his job back? Why? He did pretty good on his last game he played for us. Or was it because Brock was already annointed as the "next" Joe Montana by Shanahan and Brock's fanboys?

The idiots that think Purdy is the problem can stop being fans. He wasn't the answer today and made 2 bonehead throws. He's still a young QB, basically a rookie who is learning on the fly. He's going to learn from this and get better. The problem is that we are going to lose the #1 seed and maybe even the NFC West now as a result of the learning curve we thought he was higher on than he is.
The issue is that the learning is all he has. He doesn't have the physical tools to overcome bad decisions. In short, he's a new Jimmy G with slightly better anticipation and more mobility. None of that matters if teams know he can't use 2/3 of the field.

The concussion protocol exists for a reason.
We need a QB
Time for Donald.....Purdy does not deserve to just be "given" future starts.....let him sit a few and regroup.

He will be fine. He's a good player. Still a rookie on games. Calm down.
