This is the up and down you get with young players. Have to ride it out. He should get the whole season no matter what happens so we have a better feel on who he is.

talk about the mental toughness from Purdy. throw back, to BACK picks in a row. Bengals score what looks to be a dagger. confidence-shattering for most QB's. Purdy is battling is ass off despite some absolutely crucial mistakes,

First one was a fluke IMO. Second one was indefensible. But he had a nice bounce bounce with some insane plays.
Fun fact, in Drew Brees first two seasons a starter, his TD INT ratio was 28-31.
I think Purdy will be OK.

Look, Brock's not the guy. He's Jimmy. That's all he is. I wanted him to be a franchise QB just as hard as everyone else. But it's not looking good…

Hes better than Jimmy by a mile. Whether he's a franchise guy you won't know yet. See end of January where they sit
