I agree, Purdy had a good game, not great but good until after the sneak. If you look at some of his passes he threaded the needle to the receivers. If us older fans can remember the Cleveland game in 1981. I had the same feeling... it sure was fun when we thought they were going to win it all. Yes if his elbow is off, that would cause him to not throw accurately until it healed. Bonk on the head will get better.

His elbow is fine and so is his head. The hit wasn't that bad. If not for these ridiculous over sensitive concussion protocols they wouldn't even be doing this.

All of this. Brock is him. CMC fumble set off a chain of unfortunate events. The head bonk did not help. We are fine on the offensive side. I would like to see more mason and bell though…. The D is an embarrassment. Fix that and we start racking up wins again.

Offense is scoring 16 points less per game since week 5. Defense is giving up 7 more points per game since week 5.

16 > 7

Offense needs to tighten their s**t up.

the defense gave up over 400+ yards of offense this last game, and got 0 sacks on Cousins. a statue.

the defense needs to tighten their s**t up

Offenses that have scored exactly 17 points in a game this season are currently 4-14. Offense needs to tighten their s**t up.

Yes. Just like I watch every game every week. Watch multiple film breakdowns throughout the week as well. Do you watch the games? The offense has turned the ball over multiple times and has failed to score on more than 3 possessions in each of the last 2 games. I also saw a defense that gave up a whole lot of yards but not many points all things considering. You act like Kirk threw 4 TD's against our defense, gave up 35 points and we got blown out.

We haven't been garbage overall but the most recent game was certainly horrific. We are lucky we didn't get annihilated on Monday. Kirk missed wide open receivers at least twice inside the five and their kicker missed two kicks.

That game should've and could've easily been 40-17. We honestly weren't that bad at Cleveland against the pass, but definitely not to our standard against the run.

Wilks over-tinkered @ MIN, plus called an awful game. We were lucky to be in that game as bad as the D was.

The offense had one blip off game at Cleveland, but it can still move the ball great, it just has to clean up the turnovers and penalties.

Defense has to be called better, period. Stop trying to slam a square peg into a round hole.

then why do you keep citing only scores? the defense has been underperforming very uncharacteristically the past couple weeks starting with the run defense.

I guess you paid no attention to all the talk revolving around Steve Wilks all week.

the problem with the offense the past couple weeks has been more turnovers than usual, and missed field goals on special teams. other than that, they've been generating yardage and moving the chains.

the defense is more alarming without question from pass rush, run defense, poorly timed play calls, and huge gaps wide open in zone coverage.

the offense needs to clean up the turnovers, but the defense needs to get their s**t together and tighten the f**k up.

Our offense is 95% dinks and dunks and running plays which bleeds the clock. We had "barely any possessions in this game" like most games because of this.

Wrong. Both the 49ers and vikings had 9 possessions each. Both 49ers and CLE each had 13 possessions in their game.

The 49ers offense has turned the ball over 4 times in the last 2 games and have averaged 17 points per game in that span. Teams are only 4-14 when their offense only puts up 17 points in a game this season.

If you cannot see that the offense has been underperforming worse than the defense than you don't know what you are watching. Total yards are for fantasy f*gs. Games are won and lost by points, not yards.
