Hell, most people don't even know that in the '81 NFCCG, Montana threw three INT's! He was pretty bad in that game, until the end of course. I see many similarities with Kyle/Purdy and the group as a whole. We have something special, just need to keep working and grinding. A fan base with some faith and heart would certainly help.

Can we stop with the Montana comparisons? Brock hasn't won big like Joe yet.

I'm old enough to remember when Lance was Hurts / Josh Allen
just the nature of these threads I suppose

I agree, he's 23. I say we give him room to grow into whatever he's going to become.

He was playing good for the first three qtrs. Unfortunately, he had a meltdown the last two drives that ended up being the final nail in the coffin. It sucks. I don't think anyone is okay with the last two drives.

his first pick wasn't good but the last one was just a hope and a prayer. that final drive completely changes if we have just one timeout.

no need for a hope and a prayer. there is time on the game clock. don't need to play 500 until it's the final play. just wait for min to do their zero blitz

no timeouts, little time

34 secs is a lot in NFL, you have 2-3 more plays, and the downs to run at least 2 more
if it's not there on 2nd, no reason to give up the game with a trash throw
that was a here you win the game, throw.
maybe rifle that out of bounds or away at someones feet, and we have a big 3rd down play, who knows
guarantee you he wishes he had that one back, but live and learn I suppose..

What should BP have done on that last s**tty play call once he started towards the LOS? What was Shanny expecting BP to do? Run for a few, spike it, and live to see another down? Or was there a throw he should have made sooner?

Once Brock stepped up in the pocket, the timing of the play was off, and it could be considered 'out of structure'. So he should have thrown it sooner. But since I can't see what's going on downfield, I don't know if there was a WR open. In hindsight, throw it away and live for another play. But a QB that is playing with high confidence will think he can make that play. Double edged sword kind of thing.

Got it. Thanks. Makes sense. Hopefully he will file this away for future reference and learn from it.

Lol terrible take. I will agree with his post about Wilks..but this is dumb af haha

He hasnt played a full season.

I just wish he didnt throw the last pick; it seemed unnecessary.

This is exactly what will happen. I posted this last night. We've seen it happen before.
Brock was rally going down because Cleveland Browns won and beat us. And Moody was lost for us and affect our loss first time as sound rally going down. Let's go to support and give him for cheer and positive! He need focus his throw the balls and be smart to plays for develop it..

I think if it was 4th down, okay that's where I excuse the QB for heaving it up for grabs, gotta force action at that point
MIN season ended last year, with Kirk taking a checkdown on 4th
all about knowing your situation

Yeah, it's just kinda gross tbh.

Hopefully, BP doesn't pay too much attention to the noise..he says he doesn't but then you got ppl interviewing him that bring the noise to him with dumb, doubter questions. For reactionary purposes I guess but dumb nonetheless. I am concerned slightly that things are getting to him mentally. Players are pretty critical of themselves, which is fine, hypercritical can be a problem for the mind which I am sure he is aware of. Just hope he remembers to stay in that balanced mind set that helped get him here in the first place. I am sure he will. Hard probably when you have idk, a crap DC lol. BP has showed he can learn fast, adapt and adjust. I really blame this more on the coaching staff..but I can probably say that 500 more times....doesn't mean I should though lolol.

I do not believe any player on this planet that says they don't pay attention. It's human nature. I wonder how many 9ers come into this forum to read? I bet Brock does too and at least his dad.

He pays attention. Bet on it. I know if I were a player the snooping would be unavoidable.

Exactly. Hurts literally threw a game losing pick and couldn't drive them to win afterwards the week before...
