In college his style of play was Mahomes with a subpar arm. Make of that what you will.

Sooooooooo salty. Imagine tearing down a top 3 efficient QB that helped save our season. You're too salty All. Be happy we have 3 really good QB's all with different skill sets.

Had to mute him too, he's out of control. I simply don't understand why certain posters use one player's success to crap on another. It's being done to Jimmy and Trey. Ridiculous.

Definitely see the YOLO in him. I like it as long as he understands the game situation, and remembers that he has a top defense supporting him.

Did he save our season if the offense hasn't missed a beat with Purdy? The argument was that if Jimmy hadn't re-signed here we would have been stuck with Purdy at QB after Lance's injury, but that doesn't look as bad as we thought it would be.

That's not to say that Jimmy wasn't playing like a top 10 QB this year, because he was.

#5 in the league in efficiency to be exact. #2 in the NFC.

If we didn't have Jimmy, who knows how Purdy would've fared in Week 2 when Trey went down. He's had the chance to work quietly all season on learning the offense and adapting to NFL football, while Jimmy has been the starter.
Dude is so good, he didn't have any problem finding targets and scoring in the redzone. I want a thorough background check on Purdy, make sure he isn't a vet in babyface disguised from the draft.

his close-quarters evasion is masterful. quick not fast, good acceleration.

great to escape sacks and create that last little bit of space to get a throw off, not fast enough to default to running when he gets rattled. that's excellent, imho.

Those rankings were Jimmy's. I appreciate what Jimmy has done for us this season. He was playing at a very high level. But I cannot help but be super excited about this kid Brock Purdy. His killer instinct and aggressive mentality is exactly what I believe we need going into the playoffs. It could end up being exactly what we need to get over the hump. Fingers crossed he is able to adapt when DC's start figuring out how to take away his strengths.
