absolutely he's got balls of steel... not fun getting hit by a free rushing LB bearing down on you but Brocky delivers the ball and take it
that was my biggest knock on Steve Young, i know he is god on the wz but I never really liked him... it seemed like the more pressure there was the more his balls would shrink up into his stomach and he would do something stupid, SY should have taken home 2 or 3 more Lombari's
Not going to cut it against a super bowl defense and offense. Luckily, most teams don't have both of those like we do and I think we have the best roster in the league. No teams can compete with that. But Purdy is great at making plays out of nothing, escaping pressure, and makes good decisions. His deep balls were nice yesterday and his 2 TD passes were elite! The second we pay him like a franchise QB and lose all that talent around him, our fanbase may be in for a rude awakening. But if we can find a way to keep him with this same roster for the next 5 years, we'll be competing for Superbowls. He is the person we need with this roster to win games. Way better than Jimmy G in my opinion. Cohn likes to hate on the niners and be negative, but at the same time a lot of fans live with rose colored glasses on and don't actually see what's happening in front of them. I think as a fan you need to root for your team and players and want them to succeed and be good, but that does not mean ignoring all the things that aren't great. We have to be balanced. Either way, I love watching Purdy way more than Jimmy and hope he stays healthy because if Darnold has to play that would not be good. This is our year to bring home that sixth Lombardi and long as Purdy and supporting cast stay healthy!
